Matt Groening and David X. Cohen cameos? This episode is already off to a great start!

Loved them no even getting through the opening sequence before FOX cancels the show, lol.

The gag about everyone recording the sneak peak on their cellphones was great too.

lol @ "Waiting for Joss Whedon" and Lrr freaking out when he thought Whedon was coming.

EDIT: Nice to see Delivery Boy Man referenced on the show. If anyone is interested, I have a few extra copies of the Delivery Boy Man ComicCon Exclusive Comic that I'd be willing to part with.

Does anyone know how the ratings are for this season? Is the second set of 13 episodes guaranteed?

I think iread that outside of south park, futurama gets the highest ratings on the channel.

My understanding is that the full order of 26 episodes was complete before the season started airing and CC is just choosing to air it in two chunks. I could be remembering that incorrectly though. Ratings seem to be solid though. I recall reading that this season's premiere was the highest-rated of any non-South Park premiere.

I thought we were getting 13 episodes in this run, but just looked it up and - damn! - they are making us wait awhile for the 13th episode.

This episode started off well but then seemed to run out of steam after the Comic-Con stuff ended.

Don't fool yourself. They are going to do season 6.0 and season 6.1 releases on DVD/Blu-Ray to make more $$$$$$$$$$.

Another highly entertaining episode. Really sad that we're at the "season" finale already this week. This show definitely came back with a bang, and I hope they get the green light for more seasons now. :)
