The sight gag with Cubert wearing oven mitts so his hands look like Zoidberg's claws got to me.

rotfl

That and the fact that it took the Professor two hours to make a spaceship but twelve hours to make a slingshot.

Very funny episode - much better than the cat one. Loved his missing link rebuttals.

Hah, the writers are such dicks. :)

I seriously loved the robo-dinosaurs fighting each other - that was cool. As was "I don't want to live on this planet anymore" with Farnsworth and then Robo-Jane Goodall, the Robo-Farnsworth gag and Fatherman (away :()

I loved the Flying Spaghetti Monster's appearance.

That's more like it. Much better than last week's episode. This show does satire so effectively. I really liked that they didn't just lampoon the creationists, but also the evolutionists, showing how both ideas could be reconciled.

There was a ton of great animation, especially the dinosaurs. The humour was also great in this episode, from sight gags to one-liners to past episode callbacks, it all worked very well. I'll echo what someone else said above, the reference to Seymour was great as was the Professor building a functional spaceship in 2 hours but taking 12 hours to string an elastic band and make a slingshot.

It goes without saying, but I'm so glad to have this show back on the air.

Animation screw up. When Bender is talking to the jury & says Farnsworth is insane & Farnsworth objects, there is a shot from the back of the room. There is Bender over by the jury. There is ALSO Bender sitting with Fry & Leela. Oops!

Re: Futurama -- "A Clockwork Origin" -- 08/12/10

Leela mentions trying to kill a pigeon on her windowsill, but I thought pigeons were already extinct?

Some amazing lines in this one.

"Objection! Without pants to hold up, the defense's suspenders serve no purpose!"
"I'll allow them...for now!"

I'm OK with it - you can never have too much Bender. :)

Yeah, the two ideas can be reconciled, if you're all out of irony meters and don't mind cognitive dissonance that will kill anyone with the slightest scientific awareness. Thank goodness that a cartoon finally set the scientists straight!

I'm enjoying having the show on again. But professor is sounding a bit too much like Stimpson J. Cat.
