Steven Merchant doesn't get near enough credit for his work with Ricky Gervais.

I've been listening to their XFM radio shows from 1999, and then from 2002 - 2004 (am now working thru the "podcasts" while running and Merchant is at least as funny as Gervais.

I'm really looking forward to Life is Too Short.

I have to go with Extras by a mile. The UK version of the Office is pretty boring. Brent is the worst part. He just isn't funny and he mumbles like a retard 90% of the time. Dawn is also pretty shitty. Tim and Gareth are the only things keeping the show from being downright terrible.
