LOS ANGELES — "Survivor" is going to exploit the generation gap.

CBS says the upcoming edition of the CBS reality show "Survivor: Nicaragua" will divide contestants into two tribes, young vs. old — with "old" defined as starting at 40 for the so-called Espada Tribe.

The La Flor Tribe will be made up of people 30 and younger. The elders will have the chance to demonstrate that their experience and knowledge can help them best the "youth and vitality" of the younger crew, CBS said Wednesday.

I heard about the Old vs Young theme a few weeks ago.

What is up with that picture? Is that the actual contestants covering up their identities until CBS officially reveals them?

Thursday's were a nightmare last season. Wednesday's were actually one of my least busy nights, so I'm glad that Survivor will anchor the night.

If the trend continues, she'll be out first.

Can JJ still be on the Fox pregame show if he's doing Survivor? I'm pretty sure there are contracts where they can't talk about it until they're voted off, and you know it will be brought up.

For example, a few years ago Ashley wasn't on WWE TV when she was a contestant.

The OR at the end of Survivor doesn't look too bad either...actually, the S might be too skinny and end up looking like skeletor after a week or two.
