Wow--NO comments yet? Usually not a good sign.
I actually kind of liked this as a drama, thought it was well acted and well edited. Loved the woman/son in his mind vs. the real woman/son. Not tons of laughs, but maybe it's getting old watching Tommy spiral, but I still liked it. Not really sure what to make of Father Mike/Sheila. Rather odd.
Thanks, Holmes!

I would have thought that an episode where they retrace a plastered-Tommy's steps would be really funny, but I didn't find this to be all that funny. I suppose that's because Colleen was missing.

It was a good episode, but I'm done with the Tommy-hitting-bottom plot. I thought the end of this show was going to be "The Comeback." I was hoping it was going to be Tommy waking up, pulling his head out of his butt, and starting to move forward.

about half way through
I was thinking that he passed out and they faked a bunch of bad stuff happening in order to shock him sober, but once they go to the doorman part I guess he really did do all sorts of shit

I liked this episode actually... having read some of the comments here I was expecting to loathe it, but much to my surprise I thought it was pretty good.

I know it's not going to be funny for the entire episode, but the heaviniess/repetitiveness of Tommy's condition is just getting to be too much. I just wish he'd either get better or get it over with already.
Hopefully this season of Rescue Me is going to save itself like the second half of the last season of 24 because as of now, to me, it's limping out the door. (I know there's a long way to go, but almost halfway through the first half of this run, I'm not impressed with much more than 10-10:40 last week.)
(Mike and Shawn were pretty good this week, though. It's to the point that they're like cartoons now.)
