I really like the direction they're taking with the show. Amazing.

I'm really pumped for this season. Dexter has always had inner turmoil, but it looks like he's reached an all time high. Nice. Can't wait.

awesome. i like how they planted the seed with Quinn last year suspecting Dexter of being more than he is. seems like we'll get to see that come to fruition. :up:

After the earlier internal investigation storyline on Quinn went nowhere and was seemingly abandoned on the show, I think it was because TPTB decided to shift his character over to being the one cop in the station who was suspicious of Dexter. (Once Doakes was gone, they had no one who had this particular role on the show for a while.)

Can't wait. Dexter is the only reason why I will actually pay to have Showtime for 3 months.

I wonder if Michael C. Hall is wearing a wig since they started production in late spring after he got the greenlight from his doctor to go back to work. I recall at the Golden Globes, he was bald.

Yeah, it's a wig. His hair still wasn't grown all the way back yesterday at Comic Con. Last season could have even been a wig for all we know...

I had a feeling Dexter screwed himself over last season with the whole "Kyle Butler" business. I don't know how he's going to explain that once they find out it was him (assuming they will). This season is going to drive the intensity scale up so much I can't wait! I'm betting the show won't go on much longer after this season maybe one more season since season five isn't being advertised as the final one. I just don't see how they can keep it fresh/believable if they go much longer. The Quinn business could be interesting but honestly I don't like the character very much. It's kind of too bad they didn't just think of a better way earlier to keep Doakes around longer as he was a much more interesting character in my opinion.

I wonder if they'll go the route of Dexter pinning Kyle Butler on Quinn. I hope they don't retread what they did with Doakes but I could see Quinn end up in jail.

It wouldn't work since the family would identify Dexter as Kyle and not Quinn unless they want to take care of Dexter themselves. I'm excited about this season and can't wait.

As another poster said the seeds were planted...but on the flip side, the writers have been making us think Quinn is into some dirty shit. Also dating Trinity's daughter might blow back on him too.

However, Doakes was trying to prove Dexter was not on the up and up for either his own career or because he thought he was a good cop. I don't get that feeling with Quinn. He seems to be doing it for revenge or just jealousy.

Either way, this season is going to be fucking awesome. Hopefully we get to see more Dexter (as of right now, no word on if this season will be the last).

This is exactly what Im afraid of... Season definitely looks good, just hope they don't go down that type of route again.

Looks really good...but I'm worried with what looks to be another season of "how will Dexter get out of being found out by the cops". I'm assuming this ISN'T the final season, right? I'm afraid that when they finally do end the show, we'll have gotten tired of this general storyline.

we'll see...I'm going to remain positive.

The writers, of this show more than any others, have a knack for writing themselves into a corner and getting out of it rather gracefully.

I think the show could go for two more seasons (7 in total), that would wrap up everything perfectly. If this is the end, then I will be ok with that too.

This looks to be another great season.

I think Dexter's biggest problem is that he can't account for his time after leaving Trinity's house and finding Rita's body.

I love that it appears that this season seems to directly tie into the previous one. This is going to be great, and I'm betting those clips were only from the first 2 or 3 episodes.

End of the Comic-Con trailer got me really excited.

I thought there was talks a while back about this being the final season, but maybe I'm wrong.
