This was a really fun show last summer. Really liked how quirky it was. Looking forward to season 2.

So I guess Artie is still giving orders since he is in the cast picture.
Looking forward to this shows return. Really enjoy the lighter/Lady Liberty commercial.

I find it fascinating to watch that poor button on her shirt (when dressed conservatively) get stretched to its breaking point. I often wonder if this will be the episode it just gives up and pops.
I always found her and her mild speech impediment very attractive, but with straight hair she really ups her game.

Fun season premiere. Nothing to get overly excited about. The episode certainly wasn't perfect.
I think the resolution to the MacPherson storyline was a little abrupt. Plus, the story didn't really explain what his motives were. One of the things that I do dig about this show is the steampunk technology for all the gadgets used and how they have different takes on history. Very interesting & bizarre to make HG Wells a woman and now make her the recurring villain. I do remember Jaime Murray from season 2 of Dexter and I think she's a pretty good choice.
I figured from the beginning, especially since Genelle Williams is in the opening credits, that Leena wasn't a mole, but under some kind of influence from MacPherson. Strangling her to death wouldn't have been my 1st choice to break the spell she was under.
Pete was kind of annoying in this episode. He needs to tone it down a little. It is good to have Claudia and Artie back together in the Warehouse. It was funny seeing Claudia get all excited about that phone contraption.

I was glad that the resolution was not dragged out. The new "villain" can now become the focus. The only downside I see is that we might lose our window into Artie's past.
Glad to see the father/daughter dynamic between Claudia and Artie still seems intact.
Glad this show is back.

I'm about 1/2 way thru this, glad its back... didn't seem like Artie was too broken up about basically trading his life for that poor random limo drivers. LOL.

The twist about H.G. Well's identity was pretty good. I was expecting Wells to use an artifact to shape shift. They also seem to set up a new storyline with Wells and the mystery behind the artifacts stolen from the Escher vault.
And, yes this episode did feel like it set up the team as a "family unit" with Pete and Claudia having a nice brother/sister moment at the end.

And the Escher vault was probably one of the cooler concepts I've seen in a while.

Good numbers for the season premiere. 2.96M viewers and 1.3 in the demos. Highest rated SyFy program of the year.

OT: I'm reading the Millenium Trilogy (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, etc.) and for some reason I always picture Allison Scagliotti (Claudia) as Lisbeth Salander. I wonder if they'd ever consider her for the US Movie versions.
