Amongst the CW's whopping 2 new shows, really looking forward to Nikita.

Sucks we have to wait until the end of September for Smallville and Supernatural.

Hopefully Life Unexpected does better it's 2nd season with One Tree Hill as a lead-in.

I think Hellcats is going to tank.

Hey, good for them to not having to cancel anything in my opinion (though Smallville should have ended and GG is on the way out!).

They should have given Melrose another season....look what a change in direction did for 90210.

That chick in "Nikita" is too thin. She needs some muscle on her.

Glad that Supernatural is getting moved to Fridays as my DVR was overloaded last year on Thursday.

I am kind of bummed Supernatural is moving to Friday, along with Survivor moving to Wednesday. Their will be nothing to watch Thursday nights in the fall.

CW had a poor crop of Pilots last year so saving 90210 made sense (it was renewed fairly early on...so they were kinda of stuck with a Season Two).

Funny, CW would kill for Veronica Mars right now. Its rating from Season 2 would best anything from the current CW.

Re: The CW announces 2010 Fall Premiere Dates

90210 on Mondays, Vampire Diaries and Nikita on Thursdays and Smallville on Fridays for me.

Change for me on Thursdays this year - going to have to watch VD on CW this season.
Last year I watched it on CTV (Canada) because it aired an hour earlier at 7:00 pm ET
and I was able to then DVD-R both it and Survivor which of course aired at 8:00 pm ET
on CBS. This season CTV is not showing it - it will be shown on the /A\ network instead
at the same day/time that it airs on CW here. /A\ is also airing Nikita on Thursdays and
ANTM/Hellcats on Wednesdays so they are copying CW on those two nights.

So because of this decision, I'm the opposite of Bluelightspecial and glad that Survivor
was moved to Wednesday nights because I would have then had a conflict at 8:00 pm
ET on Thursdays. I don't have a conflict on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm ET so Survivor gets
the DVD-R if I'm not able to watch it LIVE.

Edit: Just checked the fall TV schedules again and I do have a conflict with Survivor on
Wednesdays as I want to check out "Undercovers" on NBC. Guess one gets DVD-R and
the other gets watched LIVE or one gets DVD-R and the other VCR should I not be home
to watch one of them LIVE.

LB...

Supernatural moving to Fridays means I may have to catch back up with the show on DVD. I dropped it when it first moved to Thursdays.

Re: The CW announces 2010 Fall Premiere Dates

I'll continue to watch "90210," "One Tree Hill," "Life Unexpected," and "The Vampire Diaries" and I'll probably checkout both the new shows - although I'm pretty sure neither of them will be around this time next year.

I've given up on "Gossip Girl," "Smallville," and "Supernatural" at this point.

Why? The CW already announced that season 10 is the last one, unless you already quit earlier. Season 6 will probably be Supernatural's last too since it's the last year Ackles and Padalecki are under contract to do the show.

Re: The CW announces 2010 Fall Premiere Dates

Although I'm glad they finally moved Supernatural out of Thursday's gauntlet of ratings killing competition, it's disappointing that they chose Friday as the new night for it.
