Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
I'm ready. Don Draper is the man.

Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
In the middle of season 2 right now. Damn good show. I'll have them all watched by the premiere. Really looking forward to this.

Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
I hope they concentrate more on the office instead of Don's home life this season (and with the season 3 ender, I suspect they will). The ad world/office politics has always been the most interesting aspect of this show to me.

The AMC website has updated their Mad Men Yourself site. You now have more options to choose from.

Sign me up for the "cannot wait" camp.
Don Draper might be the man, but Roger Sterling is other-wordly. |
Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
The best show on television. Hands down.
|
Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
Cant wait to see the more colorful fashions which will be the biggest jolt since any year previously since counterculture "officially" begins post-1963.
|
Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
Season 3 finale was one of the best episodes of any show that I've ever seen. Can't wait to see where they go from here.
|
Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
Three episodes left to catch up for Season 3. Can't wait to get to the end to start watching the new season.

Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
The first episode of the season, "Public Relations," seems very much centered on the new agency:
In the Season 4 opener, Don's reluctance to talk about himself jettisons a prestigious trade-paper interview that the company was hoping would be a boon to business. Meanwhile, the "wholesome" manufacturer of two-piece swimsuits wants to hire the firm but doesn't want a sexy ad campaign; Pete and Peggy stage a stunt in an effort to secure more money from a meat-company client; and Roger plays Cupid for Don. Original Air Date: Jul 25, 2010 Apparently, we're starting off in December 1964. Weiner has said that the seasonal theme is: "Who am I?" |
Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
Shit, I didnt realize this show starts in just over 10 days! Time to start re-watching the first 3 seasons.

Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
A little off topic, but just read Christa Flanagan is going to be in Playboy. Very surprising, since you don't seem many comedic actresses do that (I know that is not really her role on Mad Men, but I watched her years on MadTV). Now if they could only get Nicole Parker from MadTV as well...

Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
BTW, I didn't mean that the actress was disgusting, just that scott was right about who he thought she was on the show.

Re: Mad Men Season 4 -- July 25th
Damn, she looks just fine to me.
