While I dig Ironside, that was hardly an awesome addition. He was onscreen for roughly 3 minutes? before he was shot a million times.

Yeah that seemed like a plea to his agent... "get me in something, ANYTHING, I need the work."

I found that whole scene funny because of the voice over. Michael Westen's patented spy lesson speech may work when giving instructions about how to turn a microwave into a bomb, but not so much when it comes to dodging a Predator drone.

So true. I didn't realize I missed those sort of shows until I jumped on the Burn Notice bandwagon. I don't know how long it will last, but as long as the cases of the week are fun, they have me.

This is one of the few instances where I don't really care about the main arc of a show, and instead favor the weekly plots.

Agreed.

I have to nitpic his use of a flash drive on a gov't computer though.

I stopped watching last season. I don't even remember if I saw the whole season or not.

I thought it was a good season starting episode. I enjoyed the POTW. The main arc was OK. Should prove a little more interesting next week as it seems the two shall have a little runover (or maybe it'll be the main arc all episode?).

I'm with you guys, definitely appreciate Vaughn being added to the cast. It's nice to have a handler that is for the most part as honesty as he can be. I think that honesty is going to lead to a lot of good episodes this season.
