I'm surprised you don't at least recall Bill's wife Karen. She ran division in Season 5 and briefly ousted Bill. They ended up married in season 6, which I know your trying to erase from your mind.

I think it's a bad photo of her, which is why I forgot.

This has long been one of my favourite television shows and I sure am going to miss it. It's bittersweet and I'm sure I'll really be sad to say bye to it tonight, but knowing there is a movie on the horizon softens the blow.

I've watched this show from the start and I can very clearly remember watching the premiere in 2001. So much has changed in my life, but 24 has always been a part of it; it's weird really.

The show has had its share of ups and downs, but this is the one show I never missed. All of my friends and family knew to just leave me alone on Monday nights because 24 was on, lol. In the 9 years the show has been on the air, I have seen every single episode live except for one. So in 8 Seasons and 1 TV Movie, there has only been one single, solitary hour-long episode that I had to watch online. I can't say the same for any other show, even my other favourites.

This season started out rough, but has more than redeemed itself and is up there in terms of the best 24 has to offer. I'm really going to miss tuning in each week to see Jack Bauer, but am glad for the many years of entertainment we've gotten. Can't wait for the movie! You know I'll be there opening day, lol.

Nicely said.

Which lone episode did you fail to see live?

I can't remember which specific hour, but it was one of the April Episodes from Season 6.

Agree, very nicely said. I've enjoyed reading your comments about the show over the last 20+ weeks.

Thanks!

So what's the consensus...is it going to end on a Silent Clock?

A blurb from Executive Producer David Fury about how it ends. It's not really spoilery per se, but I'll do it just in case.

Spoiler:
http://www.thefutoncritic.com/rant/2010/05/24/interview-24-executive-producer-david-fury/20100524_24/

JH: Is it safe to say that the series technically ends or is there a cliffhanger that is going to lead into the movie?

DF: One could argue it's a cliffhanger but it is not a pat ending, let's put it that way. As for the bad guys of season 8, we will know they get theirs and justice will be served but as far as Jack's journey, it's open-ended. That was something we always knew we wanted to do regardless of which ending we did. We wanted to be able to say 'Jack lives on to fight another day.'

When was the last time Sutherland said that? I really don't remember having heard it for a while.

Incredible.

EDIT: We need a .gif of Jack rising up from the back seat of Pillar's car.

Pillar just lucked out big time. His daughter saved his life, otherwise, there's no way Jack would have let him live.

Pillar stitched Jack up pretty quickly. I imagine that wound will be completely fine in the remaining hour and a half. Probably has something to do with Jack's superhuman healing abilities.

Great to see the "Events occur in real time."

Now when we return from commercial I want to see:

beep/camera 1/beep/camera 2/beep/nothing/beep/camera 3.

Haven't seen an off beat camera in years....
