Well the show is now set in 2007, so......we have to see if any do get off the island in order to have the chance to see the Dark Knight in 2008.

Isn't it still 2007 in Lost time? Maybe the twist is the world ends before The Dark Knight is released, creating a world where no Dark Knight threads were ever created.
