Had Jack been in the car and someone dropped tear gas through a hole and covered it with their foot, I bet he would have unloaded a clip into the guys foot.

Didn't Ricker hear it? You'd think he'd have a copy. But my bet is that just like in season 5 where Miles erased the proof they had against Logan, this memory card will be deleted/broken before anyone hears it and it's something else (Jack's bug on Logan) that will be used.

Taylor will be cornered about her role in the events today because of the phone call the reporter made to Nadia, then once she learns that the tape leaked, she will have to step down or be impeached and arrested for her role. The last ten minutes I bet are going to be Chloe cornering Jack, but she won't be able to kill him, or get him to come with her. I bet she lets Jack go and he becomes a fugitive as the silent clock ticks down to 4:00pm.
I love your ending, but I'd rather have Jack out on between Chloe's eyes before leaving

Great finish to the season so far.

My only problem is Rene Walker's death being the trigger that pushes Jack off the deep end. He'd only been around Rene for a total of about 36 hours before she died (unless they were together between seasons?).

They should have killed off Jack's daughter or grand-daughter to justify the level of revenge he's exacting.

yeah, I sort of feel the same way... I mean, he seemed to content WITHOUT Rene, just being with his family, his granddaughter at the start of the season (day, rofl) and now he's willing to piss that all away...

I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but as awesome as the storyline has been...I really wish "Jack goes off the deep end in seek of revenge" didn't mean he would become a complete murderer. Those Russian guards he killed and Secret Service agents he shot (possibly killed) didn't do anything wrong and weren't involved in anything.

IIRC, Chloe said he didn't shoot to kill and even just looking at them when Logan's gopher showed up they all seemed alive.

They did have dialog about this how Jack tried to reach her and she never returned her calls, so clearly there was interest, but by meeting her again, and going through this he had hopes for a relationship again and having it taken from him again was just the final straw.

The Russians he killed were Novakovich's inner circle, so they would have known and participated in his dastardly deeds

Secret service just got wounded, Jack didnt' shoot to kill (and we all know Jack never misses)

I have no problem with Jack's actions at all except that fact he didn't kill Logan

Hmm...I feel bad for Kim Bauer. Imagine her and family watching the news, seeing her dad as a fugitive doing all these supposedly bad things. Hahahaha. Kind of funny. And sad.

I think Jack Bauer just said fuck it, and Renee getting killed is what pushed him over the edge.

On top of that, he is pissed for Renee herself. After all she went through that day (and prior to that), from having to go back to her old cover, with that guy, her traumatic incident with the stabbing, getting detained after she agreed to participate, only to be killed for a seemingly unrelated reason (by a shot intended to agonize no less). Having known all that has happened to her, on top of what happened to him would compound his desire for revenge.

But what if that shot to wound accidently missed and they bled out to death? I'm sure there's a lot of cases where a shot to a leg ends up killing someone.

Good enough for George Bush, good enough for Jack Bauer

Be cool if they could do a Fringe/24 spin-off set in the alt dimension where Jack is evil and several dead characters are still alive.
