I love how the Russian guard crawled dying across the room to answer the phone politely, "yes?"
Outstanding episode! Can't wait for the finale!!

My God. This show cannot be stopped. That was an incredible hour of television. Jack totally played Logan. He is on a revenge-fueled rampage. These last hours have been the culmination of everything Jack has endured over the years spilling over.
I wonder how serious that wound is though, I mean he got stabbed earlier and literally walked it off.
I cannot believe that there are only two hours left and 24 is done on television. Seems like only yesterday the clock first started ticking. God, I'm going to miss this show.
The preview looks INCREDIBLE. My favourite part:
This episode was a bloodbath. There were so many bodies left in Jack's wake that there weren't enough minutes in the hour to show it all. I can't believe they actually showed the Russian Assassin's insides laying on the ground like that, really effective.
That entire scene with Jack taking Logan hostage was probably one of the best 24 scenes ever. It was so intense. I'm glad they mentioned that Jack only wounded the Secret Service Agents, because up until this point Jack hasn't killed anyone that wasn't bad and I worried that he might take out the innocent agents. Itzin did such a great job as well, portraying Logan as the coward he really is. He was s quick to sell out the Russians, he truly is a snake.
I knew Jack was smarter than to kill the Russians without having another card up his sleeve. This just goes to show he is always one step ahead. He knows not to trust Logan. I love how Logan has been screwed by a secret listening device twice now, lol.
Again, regarding the preview:
I'm really disappointed in President Taylor, but I find her downward spiral to be perfectly believable. Just goes to show, you tell one lie you have to tell a bunch more, and it gets worse and worse. She too finally reached her threshold of what she was willing to sacrifice for the truth and for justice, and peace was not something she would give up.

I was hyperventilating during that limo siege scene. Gregory Itzin's Emmy reel need only contain one line..."THAT'S JACK BAUER!"

Logan's reactions during Jack's siege really sold it. Itzin was great.
Edit: And I don't think he'll be doing this anytime
soon.

Now that's what I'm talking about. Jack Bauer has turned into the freakin' terminator! Jack kidnapping Logan was one of the greatest scenes I've ever seen on TV!

LOL wow...that's some entertaining TV, though Jack has completely gone off the deep end! This is the kind of revenge story you can't help but enjoy. Body count is rising...

I'm going to have to watch this episode again, and I rarely re-watch TV episodes unless it's packed with all sorts of awesomeness.

I was wondering when they'd write in Sutherland's stomach surgery so the knife wound came as no surprise.
I loved the carnage he left in the embassy. Wish we could have seen it live. Especially that impalement. And is it my imagination or did Jack slice his throat in addition of impaling him?

The way they edited though was great, you expect this stuff to go down, but it's already happened...similar to Hassan's death not so long ago. As a result you're as surprised as Logan and his assistant.
