The shifting POV with House's retelling was interesting. With that, altering the perception by having the shrink standing next to House IN the setting of the story was fun too. Certainly a much more creative approach to something that could have been more than moderately pedestrian.

I too liked the Scrooge "Christmas Carol" vibe of last nights show.

However I'm not happy on how they are trying to shoe horn in the Cuddy / House relationship :(

I did not at all like that episode!

Measured against all the other unconventional episodes they've done lately this one holds up pretty well. It might have worked a little better if they had eased up on the psychologist interrupting the story just a bit. There was a time or two when he just killed the flow without adding anything.

Loved it, although I hope it doesn't signal House going back to being completely self-destructive. I liked that he was trying to get better.

This was an okay episode overall.

I did like that it tried to do something different with the usual case of the week and intertwine it with House's therapy session. The changing points of view was interesting too. The editing in this episode was pretty damn good.

I did think the pacing for this episode was horrendously sluggish. I started to get really bored around the 30-40 minute mark.

I hate when they do episodes like this. It constantly interrupts the flow of the story for me. Still have not gotten through the whole episode because each tile I restart it, the wife and I are bored and want to watch something else we've recorded.
