Apparently on Monday there will be a few Chuck rally's in a few states.

http://livefeed.hollywoodreporter.co...lash-mob-.html

There is also a Twitter rally. Between 12-1pm local time Monday, Chuck fans are supposed to bombard NBC with Tweets about bringing Chuck back.

Some good news about renewal - but be sure to watch tonight!

Last year, NBC’s Chuck got an 11th hour reprieve, clinching a partial 3rd-season order on Sunday afternoon before upfront week. This time around, its fate will be decided earlier if the show’s producers get their way. Several days ago, creators Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak pitched NBC their vision for Season 4 and producing studio Warner Bros asked the network for a quick resolution so the series could keep its writing staff. Even with NBC brass happy with their drama development, the spy dramedy’s chances of renewal are considered very good -- and certainly a lot better than last year when a sponsorship deal with Subway sealed the renewal. With the show rising in the ratings this week and fans staging rallies tomorrow, Chuck may be one solid ratings performance tomorrow night away from an early renewal.

I wonder if he said give me 22 episode full season at s2 budget and it will be the last. We'll wrap everything up.

I'm never terribly disappointed when a show packs it in, but I'll be hurting if Chuck doesn't continue.

That's 2 shows in a row that I've seen Swoosie Kurtz interact with a character named Chuck. :)

Tigers and bathrooms seem to be a trend, having seen The Hangover a few weeks ago.

When Morgan said "I hate you Chuck.", I translated that in my head as "We hate you, Zachary."

Even thought it was spoiled in the promos, I liked Morgan not being able to shoot the real thing. I suspect I would be the same.

I couldn't figure out where I knew Udo Kier from at first, but looking at his filmography, he was in Ace Ventura.

Looks like they've finally managed to pull Ellie into things somehow. The bit with the Ring agent at the end came out of left field for me.

I was expecting it. Rule #467,321 of watching television: Any character who comes out of nowhere to be helpful is bad. :)

I didn't see it was coming, but have tired of that whole story line (the Doctors W/O Borders thing) and figured to make things interesting (tidy), they needed to wrap in Ellie and Awesome into Chuck's world.

Thought the storyline with Willard and Kurtz was pretty good. I'm still hoping that Chuck and Sarah stay a couple and all the trials and tribulation abound from other aspects of their jobs/lives. Casey training Morgan was gold!

(Two Fred Willard guest spots in one week; sweet!)

Yeah, I didn't trust that guy from the moment he showed up and totally expected a twist ending. For me, the "out of left field" would've been if the entire Africa thing had zero to do with Chuck being a spy. Instead, how about they get kidnapped by locals and Chuck travels half-way across the world to save them?

I liked the Hart to Hart themed opening to tonight's show but I found I had a hard time paying attention throughout. Maybe its the splitting headache I have but I just found myself zoning out tonite.

Will have to rewatch it sometime this week.

I was expecting Ring activity as soon as I saw the first shot in DRC because why the hell would they even bother to show us that!? I just hope that they find a way of rescuing them without Ellie finding out about Chuck, however unlikely that is. Wasn't the whole conflict from the beginning that his family and friends would be carted off if they ever found out?

I loved the little Hart to Hart bit. Would it be so bad if this show became something like that? I don't think so.

And Organ really shouldn't complain after he bagged Carina at the beginning of the season. That huge over-achievement should tide him over for a good while.

thought Sarah was definitely bitchy during the 1st half of this episode...

obviously there was going to be SOME sort of spy plot with Ellie and Awesome, otherwise why show it.

Fred Willard is getting a lot of work lately! In the past few weeks I have seen him on Modern Family, Castle and now Chuck.

Good episode. This is clearly the start of the mini-arc that are the additional episodes NBC ordered. Very excited for the final few of the season especially after Josh Schwartz's interview buzz about the final episode!

I think Ellie & Awesome are the best part of this show. If Chuck chucks it in, I think they should do an Ellie spin-off.

It was weird seeing her without an eyepatch though.

Anyone have a screen cap of Chuck & Morgan's display case full of vintage gaming systems in their apartment?

From the 480p feed at Hulu (if anyone finds a higher resolution screencap, feel free to post):

Is that N64 controllers I see in there? If so, I feel old. :)

This is about as good as I can get from the broadcast:

And you feel old because of an N64 controller? How do you think I feel remembering the Odyssey?

5.3m viewers last night. Pretty far from the "solid performance" it needed.

In my defense, I'm 31 and didn't start playing video games until the NES in 1986. :)

I hope there's a collection of deleted scenes on the BD showing Fred Willard improvising.

Not sure what sort of numbers they genuinely would have expected to get going up against a new House and DWtS...

That, and I had an Atari 2600 as a kid. I thought I saw one in there last night, but don't see it now.

A friend of mind down the street had a Colecovision

I'm 35. I guess those 4 years make a big difference in the game console generation gap.

I'm turning 30 next week and still have my 2600 in the basement... One day I plan on setting up all my systems like Chuck and Morgan.

2600> NES > Genesis/SegaCD/32X > Saturn > N64 > Gamecube > PS3

I really didn't like the way they ended the storyline with the Turners. I thought it was kind of silly for Chuck and Sarah to stand up for them so quickly after pretty much betraying their country.
