Synopsis:

Spoiler:
The demon Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) he can help them find the remaining Horsemen rings so they can trap Lucifer. The brothers are doubtful until Crowley leads them to Brady (guest star Eric Johnson), the Handler for Pestilence (guest star Matt Frewer) and Death. However, Brady refuses to give up their locations and sets Pestilence after the Winchesters.

So how many of the horseman do Sam and Dean need to find? I just finished last week's episode with the Gods and loved it. I counted 2 left which included the guy with the boogars and snot coming out of his nose.

Two is right, Death and Pestilence, four horsemen total.

I wonder if Pestilence will drag out a nuke in this show?

I thought the extended preview for next week's episode was the best part of tonight. This was a filler episode disguised as part of the story arc.

Agreed. At the time this was written, this was supposed to be the third to the last episode for the entire series. I'm disappointed that this is what they came up with. The budget constraints were glaringly obvious, too. Perhaps they were just trying to save money for the final two episodes because I think this one was shot for about $8.00.

I liked the old demon, but I agree the episode was largely a bust. The new demon they introduced wasn't bad either, but I was completely not sold on his back story with Sam and Sam's anger. I don't know if was an acting fail, or the directing, but it just wasn't clicking.

I really liked the second half of the episode. It was great when the hell-hound attacked and Crowley went and got his own much larger hound and let it go attack.

Then at the end, in what I thought was a neat little parallel, Dean essentially let Sam loose on the demon.

Can't wait for next weeks episode.

Me too. It was available for download on the CW website, but I couldn't find it today. You can still listen/download it here.

Yeah, I didn't buy Sam's anger at all. I think because I always assumed Ezeziel was the guy who killed Sam's girlfriend all this time, so it's a little late to retcon some important person into Sam's college days.

I thought the ep was ok, but it did feel like a bit of filler. I'm cool with filler, but this was sort of tasteless filler. Even though they're desperate, I have a hard time buying Dean working with a demon after his disgust with Ruby.

The extended preview was amazing though. Now, I'm convinced that Lucifer is going to spill into next season, unless the finale is 2 hours long.

Was Brady played by the guy from Flash Gordon, and was also Whitney on Smallville?

Yes, it was. Both Jansen and Eric Johnson both from Smallville.
