So, umm, I guess Lois is a domestic abuser. That's awkward.

Ah. I remember Wonder Woman breaking his neck and the OMAC Project but didn't remember him running Checkmate.

Re: Smallville -- "Charade" -- 04/23/10
I thought this was a pretty good episode.
It's interesting that there are factions within Checkmate. It doesn't give them some obligatory trump over all other parties. The uncertainty of their own existence relative to each other provides for some good conflict. Only 3 to go? I feel like this season has flown by. The back half certainly isn't as together as the front half, but there have been some good elements. I am surprised they're playing up the triangle so much. I figured they would have ended the episode with Clark grabbing Lois' shoulder and her realizing the truth, but I suppose that would be cliche? I'm also surprised they ended on such a cliffhanger of sorts. |
Re: Smallville -- "Charade" -- 04/23/10
Looking at the photo in the OP post, clark really needs to start wearing glasses lol
Anyways, i rate the episode 6/10, nothing great , but it had its moments. The lois and clark scenes seems force and out of place IMO LOL |
Re: Smallville -- "Charade" -- 04/23/10
I just hope we don't get mopey Clark again who hasn't really shown up since Lana left.
I thought it was an ok ep, I thought it was funny that Chloe was wearing green the first half of the episode. I don't remember her wearing it before she started seeing Oliver, but I wasn't really paying attention either. |

Clark seems much more confident lately and that some of these lessons are actually beginning to sink in. Plus he's being a lot more calculated and less reckless. I wonder if they'll separate Lois and Clark for a while so they can realize they are better when working together. Would go a long way with the triangle as well as helping towards the words of Dr. Fate. |

Why does it seem like Zod was supposed to be the big bad this season but now that it got renewed they're throwing this confusing Checkmate stuff at us and dragging Zod out until next season. |

Re: Smallville -- "Charade" -- 04/23/10
Why did Clark not act sooner when confronting Maxwell ? How did he find it acceptable to risk Lois when he distroyed the 3d glass ? Would it not have made more sense to instead have knocked Maxwell out to prevent harm to Lois ? Why did only Lois wake up when Maxwell ran off ?
