If we get an hour of Jack sulking, I'll be pissed.

But I doubt Jack will do that. ;)

Can't wait!

Well, his girlfriend gets killed AND he gets thrown out of a strip club. I'd be pissed too. Guy's horny as Hell.

Here's Jack's tortured relationship history:

Season 1: 2000 w/ Teri. Reconciled after separation, but assume he did Nina during separation.
Season 2: 2002 (approx) None. Too depressed
Season 3: 2005 (approx) Claudia (Hector Salazar's girlfriend)--sometime between 2002-05 and Kate Warner
Season 4: 2006 (approx) Audrey Raines
Season 5: 2008 (approx) Nope, on the run
Season 6: 2009 (approx) Nope, just got back from China
Season 7: 2011 (approx) Nope, on trial
Season 8: 2012 or 13: Renee Walker for 15 minutes.

It's been 6 or 7 years since Audrey. That's a really long time.

Which vendetta will be cooler, Jack's or Bond's from Quantum of Solace? I hope Jack goes the same route and just starts taking out the Russians without any recourse.

I know they never specify a year, but IIRC the years are off. I think 3 seasons ago we were near the 2015 mark. Hell David Palmer [supposedly] served two terms for 8 years and that would put them at the 2009 mark alone. Then you have Keeler, Logan, Whayne, Daniels and Taylor.

However, 24 Wiki puts the current season 14 years after Day 1. Seems on the low side to me, considering Palmer took up 8. That means they paraded in 5 presidents in a 6 year span.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- "9:00am to 10:00am" -- 04/19/10

Season 1 was assumed to be an election year which was 2000. In season 6, Jack's Dad mentioned it was 9 years since Teri's death...that's how I got approximately 2009 for season 6. With the exception of Season 3, which jumped 3 years every season jumped roughly 18 months from what I understand.

And Palmer did not serve 2 terms. Remember at the end of season 3, he decided to not seek re-election and that's how Keeler got the job.

Daniels only served the remainder of Wayne's term from what I understood, then Taylor was elected.

So my season 7 and 8 years may be slightly off a little. 2014 could be possible for Day 8.

Remember that each season is only 1 day in the life of Jack Bauer. Just because we didn't see Jack get any between Audrey and Renee doesn't mean he wasn't banging everything that moved on every other day.

Chloe just hung up on the President. She didn't know if Taylor was done talking.

Not accurate.

Day 5 he had a full-blown relationship with Connie Britton.

Great episode. They really are on a roll.

I loved how the nurse brought Jack shoes and clothes from an intern, lol. Like the person said above, "Hey Intern, Jack Bauer needs shoes and fresh clothes. Turn 'em over." Haha.

I'm disappointed in Taylor. I understand her reasons, but I'm disappointed. She has constantly proven herself to be someone who does not buckle under pressure, always does what is right, and never gives in. On the one hand, it seems out of character for her, but I understand what she is trying to accomplish. I feel like President Taylor's betrayal of Jack deserved a silent clock, lol.

I don't really understand Logan's motivations in all of this. There has to be more than him wanting to get back into the good graces of the government...it just doesn't make sense. Either way, he's doing a good job playing the bad guy, but it's just too bad President Taylor is going along with him. Still, I can't wait until Jack finds out Logan is involved. That should be pretty epic.

Kiefer Sutherland did such a great job this episode portraying Jack's pain, sadness, and betrayal. I'm glad we got to see that side of him with little bits of bad-ass mixed in (him interviewing the Russian Mob Boss, the brief interrogation of Dana Walsh). The scene at the end was pretty well-done. Got a kick out of Jack telling the kid "Don't be sorry" and then jacking (pun intended) the helicopter. There is nothing better than Jack on a mission.

I'm not sold on Jack and Chloe being on opposite sides. I applaud the writers for mixing it up a little, but given their history the characters have together, I'd have thought Jack would have told Chloe what was going on. Although Chloe is a formidable "opponent" for Jack, in that she knows how he operates. Either way, I'm sure she will end up helping Jack when he really needs it.

Ethan is just fantastic; I'm really glad he didn't die. Nice to see another voice of reason besides Jack...I bet he will play a big part in helping Jack get the truth out there.

Spoiler:
Next week looks great as well. Can't wait to see what Jack does. I imagine Cole will end up trusting Jack and helping him. Can't believe Taylor is getting further in bed with Logan...very disappointing. Looks like they are going to order the execution of Dana Walsh? I wanted her dead, but it looks like next week I'll actually want her to live so she can corroborate for Jack. I bet Chloe stands up to the guys that are trying to take her away and protects her.

The lady didn't strip the intern's clothes of his back. The intern would likely have several clothes/scrubs in his locker or something.

I think we all know that, but find it funnier if she forced him to strip so Jack could have a fresh set of clothes and some shoes.

They should have had a silent clock for those awful, awful greenscreen effects at the end.

Otherwise...fuck. I love loving this show again.

Yeah what's with him freaking out and questioning who the one guard is and wanting him removed from his duties?

I enjoyed this talky episode. Didn't find it boring after the last few weeks of intense episodes.

Plus Logan (or should I say Itzin) just gives his scenes everything. Itzin is sensational. I just get sucked into his BS and by the end, ask myself why I bother to even listen to these evil guy...haha

Can't believe Taylor went against what she has fought for these past two seasons. Didn't think she would even consider continuing the peace process. Though under Logan's power of persuasion (like I said, sensational), I can't blame her.

I also liked the lines:

Bauer: "I want justice!"
Taylor: "I want peace!"

The ending was too cheesy for me, but overall, I liked the episode.
