One big inconsistency in this episode: the brother claimed his sister loved the high speed runs in the Porsche, while the hooker claimed she was scared and crying.

That's not an inconsistency. That's the kids sticking with the version they've created in their minds vs what's actually reality.

re: the mention of a Series Finale

I didn't know it was officially dead. Not surprised if so.

Really miss the original.

Don't delete your season pass yet. There is still 5 more new episodes.

Watched this before I went to work today.

Really impressive guest stars in this episode. Titus Welliver from Sons of Anarchy and The Good Wife and of course Victor Garber. And to top it off Jodi Lynn O'Keefe as a whore. :D

I liked the case also. It was interesting to see the daughter manipulated by the father.

 at the promo for next week's burnoff episodes with Winters being back from the dead and TJ's porn stache being back. The viewers still watching are going to be really confused.

BTW, if your still recording this, double check your DVR for next week. It may not pick up it as a new episode because the listing says next week's episode aired in February, which never happened since the show got pulled for the re-boot.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I figured out what happened. The episode of the 16th "Hayden Tract" was supposed to be the season finale. NBC aired these last few reboot episodes out of order. That episode ended with Morales calling TJ's cell phone and he wasn't there to pick up. The showrunner said in a Youtube video that the season ends on a cliffhanger with TJ's whereabouts unknown. That probably explains why the Monday and Wednesday episodes just picked up like nothing happened.

I looked up the production code for "Hayden Tract" and it's 01022 so I think you are right. The end of the episode sure felt like a season ending cliffhanger.

No, you are not seeing things. New episode tonight, even though the show is cancelled. The show is doing some time travelling. There are the 5 episodes produced before the reboot.

Alfred Molina is back to being a lawyer
Regina Hall and Megan Boone are back
Skeet Ulrich is back from the dead
Corey Stoll's porn stache is back

:thmbsdwn: to no more Alana de la Garza. She was a great addition to the show.

Wow that was a great episode. Seriously, the best "normal" episode of L&O I've seen in years.

Re: Law and Order: LA -- "Plummer Park" -- 5/30/11

After seeing this episode tonight, I'm a little upset that NBC pulled the show for about 4 months for the big reboot, which pretty much killed the show.

Obviously this episode should have aired around December or January and I thought it worked just fine. I thought the case with the spies and the kidnapping gone bad was quite compelling. I guess the new President of NBC must have hated Skeet Ulrich's character alot to have kept these episodes off the air until summer burnoff.

I know it's too little too late now, but they should have kept the show in it's original timeslot (Wednesday at 10pm) and still have aired these episodes leading into the reboot. I think the show would have gotten another season. It's going to be weird seeing Alfred Molina next week back as a DDA. I was getting really used to him as a Cop.

:thmbsdwn: Megan Boone is cute, but she's no Alana de la Garza. I'm going to miss Connie Rubirosa.

Is this the last of the pre-reset episodes? I don't see any more new ones coming up.

There is 3 more left after tonight. The series finale is 6/27

Thanks for starting this. I was really busy today (even though it's not as nice as the previous threads) ;)

finally watching the last couple episodes
can't find a thread for the one with the porn star but it was funny seeing pornstache trying to get in her pants

and seeing Bob Saget in a role totally different from what most tv watchers think of when thinking of him was great
