great, another hurley-centric kitsis/horowitz filler ep, following the Season 6 pattern of having each awesome hour followed by a shitty one?

Not a fan of Hugo episodes either.

My guess is he'll spend the whole hour experiencing tough choices ON the island and having good luck off the island. At the end he'll make his harrowing decision and say "Dude, we need to (insert good decision here)". I'm not looking forward to this one... at least not like I was to the Desmond-centric episode.

I always enjoy Hurley's episodes. Plus, didn't Darlton say we were finally going to get some backstory on Libby this season? If it's going to happen, it will be this episode.

Yes. Which will certainly make this a cool episode in my book. Her "sideways" plotline with Hurley should be very interesting...

I always loved the Hugo centrics.
I have a feeling, based of episode titles, that the big episodes start next week and end with the finale. I still don't know who the centric is for next week though which I'm happy about!

Although I can't say that I am excited to see Hurley's off island story, I am excited for his island story, which hopefully includes Jacob, or maybe other dead individuals.

A very early showing in Atlantic Canada thanks to American Idol - the child and the dog are both in the throes of the early evening crazies, so I intend to watch this again later this evening - `13 minutes into the episode - Holy Shit! - there's a "gamechanger"!

for not giving anything away. Good to know it looks like an important episode then.

Three quarters of the way through the episode - the dog is now sleeping and the boy is having his bedtime snack - some of the earlier posts indicate a weariness of Hurley episodes - not the case here - important things are happening - trust me - plus, some of Jorge Garcia's best acting to date.

Thats's not saying much about Jorge though lol. He's only had a few really standout moments in five seasons IMO.
His best work is probably the speech he gave his mother about why the O6 lied. Even harder to believe how well it came across when I listened to him, via his podcast, explain the many takes they took during that scene.
OTOH, he was downright terrible, and difficult to watch, in the scene where he told Claire that Charlie had died.

For the low, low price of only $100 Canadian dollars each, I will spoil the final ten minutes - for the low, low price of only $1000 Canadian dollars each, I won't!!! You have 108 minutes to decide...

That um, moment early in the episode was one of those "did that really just happen?" type scenes.
