I'm confused as to what was changed to cause Somali Warlord's death instead of his flash coming true since the CIA team was apparently always destined to go there judging from D. Gibbon's message to Cho and Lesbimom's apparent necessary clarification of the angel remark. On that same note why in the world would all those guys on their security team have gone on a risky mission in Somalia when they must not have had flashes? I can just see them on the copter ride over there:

Redshirt #1: Hey, what was your flash?
Redshirt #2: I didn't have one, what was yours?
Redshirt #1: Hmm, I didn't have one either.
Redshirt #3: Guys, I didn't have a flash either, wonder what that means?
Redshirt #1: OK, we're landing, we'll have talk about this later.

I did not think into the whole conversation like you, but I definitely thought about the fact that none of them had flash forwards AND how they for some reason agreed to enter Somalia.....

What I don't get is that in the flashforwards, everyone is going about their life. The whole world knows exactly what time it happens (then their past self is seeing/hearing their future self). Why aren't people planning to show themselves info that would help themselves. "Here are the lotto numbers", "Invest in this stock", "Don't leave the house on this date", etc.

So yet another time-travel story a-la Lost. I'm getting sick of this...

That's what I've been asking since the pilot. I think we can rule out that the visions were of a future where the blackout didn't happen, but maybe they were of an alternate future where people had FFs to a different time.

Kudos to Mark's wife for realizing he doesn't really want to change what he saw, for God knows what reason. It's not like in his vision he had saved the day but his personal life sucked. No, his life sucked, he didn't appear to have any answers, his partner was dead, and people were coming to kill him. I'm not seeing the upside of going down that path.

Has the actor who plays D. Gibbons played a good guy ever? Or even a normal guy? I've always seen him as a bad guy. Not that I'm complaining. He's pretty creepy.

Billy Drago is the actor and I think he was one of the gold miners who were being harassed by that land owner in Pale Rider?

Good episode, I like that they did deal again with changing the future, although they might have to explain it as that the CIA guy was not supposed to be on the trip and Mark's previous actions caused him not to go. Or something to that effect.
