Castle renewed for a Third Season

Rejoice!

Considering its huge ratings last night, this isn't a surprise.

It's been assumed for months now. It's like a ABC version of Bones - good ratings and repeats very well.

14.47 million last night. Very good number.

I saw the last couple episodes and liked it. Guess it's time for me to give up on CSI Miami.

Kinda, sorta. I would say this show has a stronger premise. The smaller cast is also a little stronger than the semi-rotating one on Bones right now.

Needless to say, I too am also happy this show is on. Mondays are mostly a drag until 10pm. ;)

Meh... enjoy it but in a very different way. Plus IT has NOT yet been renewed.

I'd be surprised if it comes back... it's tanking in the ratings.

As for Castle, one of my favorites! So happy that Nathan Fillion is finally in a well-received (ratings-wise) show.

I love this show, shame my DVR missed last night's recording. :( While I am sure he has been approached (apparently every actor has for this particular role), I would love to see Fillion play the character Fletch if they ever revamp the franchise and make movies from the books. He seems to fit the character well.

Since Castle seems to have a tendency to be around redheads (his mom, his daughter and ex-wife), is there a slight chance we might get a guest spot in the third season from Christina Hendricks as another one? :D

What did you think the weekly threads were about? A new reality show about building midevil castles?

Whoo hoo!!!

Although, I kinda hate the idea that I really like a show that 14 million other people like as well...

She's worth going to the special Hell for. :eyebrow:

Awesome, since it's one of my favorite shows on TV. Interesting you compare it to Bones....they strike me as amazingly similar.

My dad saw a Bones promo during Idol tonight and started laughing uncontrollably...it is his kind of humor.

I didn't expect this show to last very long when it premiered. Pleasantly surprised at the fan base it has amassed and congratulate its renewal.

I still miss Firefly (oh come on, someone had to say it). Still, good for Nathan. It's one of the better shows on TV. I'll be sticking around for Season 3. ;)

Nice promo...Happy about the renewal. Now if only FOX would renew Human Target, I'll be an extremely happy camper.
