Agreed. Even if the ep doesn't address major "current" plot points, getting Richard's background should prove to be interesting. Especially since it apparently involves The Black Rock (if my clue notebook is accurate...)

At THIS stage NONE of them can be filler IMHO (especially considering what Lindelof and Cuse have been hinting). Can't wait. I've never said that before and meant it. I'm with you hardercore and will also be glued to my seat for this and the replay!!!

Do they really need to hit us over the head any more with the Richard/Black Rock connection? That's certainly been done enough and I hope we learn a lot more about Richard than just that.

But I would like to see the ship's arrival, who was on it, what happened to them, etc.
Will we see that? Who knows?

It would be awesome if they did like before with "We have to go back, Kate" but this time they have "Previously on Lost" and they show the MiB and his conversation with Jacob on the beach and then the show starts by traveling from the beach to the Black Rock and really telling Richard's story from the beginning by showing where he is on the boat and the other crew members. Hopefully, the start of the episode pre-titles would end with showing just how the Rock got onto the center of the Island.

That's really the main question I want answered from a Richard/Black Rock story. Was the wheel involved to disappear/reappear the island around the ship or another answer?

I would hope all those questions are answered and more. I would think this is one of the few episodes where the writers could easily explain those things in the context of the action. I mean, there's not a lot of episodes left, so it's time to just lay your cards out there and let the public think what they want.

I haven't even seen this episode and I know I'm immensely satisfied. But I'm also a fan of pretty much everything they've done (with the exception of cheesy alt-timeline character reveals) this season.

I'm sticking with my theory that:
1. MIB = Aaron
2. Locked cabin contents = Aaron
Not sure how Jacob fits into this theory, however. Perhaps Jacob is a past incarnation of Aaron/MIB -- which means Aaron/MIB can't kill him without killing himself!
