Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Patty tracks down Carol Tobin to find out what she knows about her family's Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, Ellen's family life goes haywire; and Frobisher begins to make his movie.

When I was on vacation in Asia last week, Damages just made it's season premiere.

Looking forward to finding out why Patty keeps dreaming about a horse

Loved the scene in her office with Frobisher and the movie people.

^ Yeah, that damn horse is confusing me. Glad to see Frobisher make another appearance -- I think he was in most of the scenes in this week's episode.

Patty is still calling that woman "Daniel" and now Lenny is doing the same. This episode was kind of dull to me. There were too many family members spread throughout this one and they were trying to focus on all of them. Ellen's sister and mom, Patty's son, etc.

It was funny how Frobisher was standing up for Patty until that meeting.

I've been enjoying most of this season and last night's episode was no exception. Did anyone think that Patty would just play nice with those movie people and praise Frobisher? I liked the response by Frobisher though funny stuff.

I still have no clue what the point of the Keith Carradine character is about. The allegorical stuff about the wall is confusing. Pretty nice last scene between Patty and Ellen as you could see that Ellen really didn't want to ask Patty for a favor regarding her sister the drug addict.

Did anyone catch the look in the beginning of the episode that Patty gave Tom after he resigned? Scary stuff.

The Michael subplot isn't really bothering me possibly because it isn't taking as much space up this year.

Yeah I was laughing at that. She had that look of 'how dare this fool walk out on me like that after everything I did for him'

About Carradine and I thought about this after the show last night but do you think he is a ghost like figure or something. Sort of like Patty's conscience or something. I mean I don't recall him speaking to anyone else beside Patty and he says some odd things. I don't know maybe I am reaching on this one but it crossed my mind.

I watch this and Mad Men because it is the only thing that doesn't feel like a chore to watch!
I watch 24 and Nip/tuck amongst other things and it sometimes feels like you are just going through the motions.

Did anybody notice when Leonard walked into the apartment in the opening scene, Carol was watching Ed Grimley's favorite show.....Wheel of Fortune? Nice touch.

Loved how Frobisher's attitude totally changed after the meeting with Patty.

Yeah, I'm lost on the wall/horse stuff too.

I really need to rewatch the first two seasons because I don't know the back story of Danson's character. i just need to find time to watch them.

Good to know how Tom died, now we just need to learn what exactly led up to it.

I kind of like Frobisher sticking around even if he doesn't have much to do with the main plot. His stuff was better this week.

I wonder if Patty is going to do anything to Michael/Jilll? Last week seemed like Patty was threatening her and this week Michael was asking questions about miscarriages. I wouldn't be surprised if something happened to her before she has the baby.

This episode was a mixed bag for me here. Not keen on seeing Tate Donovan in the director's seat again as this one tended to jump around a lot. Felt like the writers were stretching it and needed some filler - the stuff with Keith Carradine and the horsey didn't work for me.

I wonder how many more botched attempts at mispronouncing Windy will there be before Frobisher starts swinging at windshields with his golf club.

 Patty tearing down Frobisher, her attempt to look stoic while lying to Michael about her OB/GYN past.

"I don't much like movies anyway." yes, why go back and make movies when you could win some Emmys? :)
