Human Target -- "Salvage & Reclamation" -- 3/10/10

This episode was fantastic fun. Ironic that it felt 1000X more Indiana Jonesy than the last Indiana Jones movie was. From the Wilhelm scream, to the exaggerated punching sound effects, the pacing, etc... loving this show... it really has a theatrical quality to the look and feel of it.

Great episode. I hope that's not the last we see of Marķa. Glad they improved Guerrero's hair.

Bryan Spicer should direct the Uncharted movie so it stands a chance to not suck.

If 24 is indeed dead, I hope this show gets its slot.

This show IMO would make the perfect January replacement for 24.

I was thinking the exact same thing. The music also sounded very reminiscent of old school John Williams. I would love it if a movie theater decided to show a few eps. on a big screen.

QFT.
And the women have some serious hottage going on. The show has had me hooked from the pilot, with the score and "Blending in...always blending in...you dont know what its like...".
Nothing too serious, good clean nice fun. Theatrical score, theatrical shots.
This is the series I look most forward to among the current crop.

According to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...arget_episodes
Its getting about 7-8M viewere --- is that good enough or does it risk cancellation ?

It won it's timeslot and the 18-49 demo (for the hour) this week. I would hope that's just as important as how many viewers it has when it's time for renewal.

Personally, given Fox's recent trend of actually giving shows a second season to find their footing, I can't see how this show wouldn't get picked up for another go around. Its averaging decent numbers despite the first four episodes appearing on four different nights at different time slots. The fact that it survived the Fox Kiss of Death on its first four episodes means this thing has legs. The word of mouth on the show is appallingly good and with 24 winding down this season, Human Target's producers should be jockeying Fox to pin this show down after House on Mondays next year.

I assume the production costs for this show are quite higher than that of the average show....

Re: Human Target -- "Salvage & Reclamation" -- 3/10/10

It took awhile, but I finally got to see this week's episode. Really fun show. I can't believe how no one has commented on Tig's appearance (or are there no overlapping SOA/HT fans?). I'm wondering if he, or more likely Maria, are appearing in more episodes.

Fun episode. This show brings the entertainment every week. Fox needs to look hard at their programming situation and figure out that this show is perfect to replace 24 in the Monday night, post-House, time slot. (Although I wouldn't be sad if they keep it where it's at now: helps out with both the Monday night and Wednesday night viewing schedules.)

Is the woman we saw in the preview for next week the agent Chance met earlier this season? She's a cutie.

Another good episode. How many are on tap for this first season?

If nothing else I'd be happy with a 13 episode second season. Keep it short, tight and the production values at a constant level. That keeps it coming back and allows the crew to work on other projects.

Didnt see a thread for the 3/17 episode. It kicked ass. More info on Chance's backstory and the possible addition of a new team member. Love her.

Yeah, this episode was great . Loved how the nemesis calmly threatened Guerrero. I never thought we'd see someone get the upper hand on him so soon in the show.

The show gets better as it goes on. I really liked this last one.
