How I Met Your Mother -- "Of Course" -- 03/08/2010
I'm surprised there wasn't a thread started for this.
I liked this episode much better than last week. Ever since Barney and Robin broke up, Barney has been acting like a man-whore. I know he's a playboy, but he's usually a human being too and this episode gets him back on track. I hope I wasn't the only one who was mad at Marshall for punching off the stromtrooper's head. I loved Barney's line about something worse being put in there after Phantom Menace. 11 years on, the jokes still work. Jennifer Lopez was much better than Carrie Underwood. I think this was the best I've seen her act since Out of Sight. Plus, she was looking damn good in those outfits, especially the blue one. Hard to believe she's 40 and has had kids. |

I thought Marshall punching off the stormtrooper's head was the funniest part of the entire episode. That and Barney's reaction to whatever Jennifer Lopez whispered into his ear and the dramatic music that played as he ran away.

I was looking for a thread early today too. But was too lazy to create a new one.

This show is starting to bore me. 30 Rock, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, and even Cougar Town are ahead of this now. They need to do something, imho, to shake things up a bit. I'm not sure what it means about me, but I was actually thinking to myself that a fictional character (Barney) was too good for J-Lo.

Ted's song wasn't that great, but I liked the shifting set pieces.
