Dancing with the Stars - Season 10 - "Cast Reveal (During 'The Bachelor')" (03/01/10)
 
Yup, we gotta watch "The Bachelor" to find out who is officially in the 10th Season. :down:

ABC has announced Dancing with the Stars' tenth-season cast will be revealed throughout the network's broadcast of The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love finale on Monday, March 1.

The celebrity participants will be revealed in interstitials throughout The Bachelor's broadcast by Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron.

Dancing with the Stars' tenth season will premiere with a two-hour performance episode on Monday, March 22 at 8PM ET/PT.

Following its debut, all of the tenth-season couples will return for another two-hour performance show on Monday, March 29 at 8PM ET/PT. Home viewers will be able to vote following each episode.
Speculation and rumors point to the following possibilities:

  • Kate Goseling (John & Kate + 8) - Rumored
  • Kevin Federline (Rapper "Popo Zao") - Rumored (May be ineligible due to experience... yeah right)

  • Levi Johnson (Knocked up Palin's kid) - Rumored
  • Conan O'Brien (Unemployed) - Rumored... but would be funny
  • Evan Lysacek (Olympic Ice-skating Champ) - Rumored
  • John Stamos (Full House) - Rumored
  • Brooklyn Decker (Model) - Rumored

I believe there will only be twelve couples this time; producers seem to be going with the general notion that the show was over-loaded last season. I'm more curious about which professionals will be on the show. I know Lacey Schwimmer is out (though I don't know if that was her choice) and they told Dimitry Chaplin they didn't have a match for him this time.

Pro dancer Kym Johnson is out. She wanted more money which the show refused to fork over. They just had a story on this on E! Online news.

Access has also learned someone who has walked on the moon is set to shake their former-intergalactic groove thing in the ballroom too, the source said.

Buzz Aldrin, who was the second person to set foot on the moon, is the favorite, thanks to his regular appearances across television. Although, it still yet could be Neil Armstrong.

Buzz has appeared on “The Simpsons,” “Celebrity Jeopardy,” “NUMB3RS” and most recently, “The Price Is Right” in November 2009.

OMG! in the other thread on the next co-host for DwtS, I suggested Erin Andrews, and she's actually one of the contestants for this spring season! Coolness!

Anyone think Evan Lysacek will either be really good, or really bad? Seems too much like a ringer to me, plus he's the hardest working athelete in the mix.

Glad that despite the peephole controversy Erin Andrews is going to be on the show. She seemed really excited last summer about possibly doing it.

Evan Lysacek is pretty much a lock to win. I don't think anybody else on that list has the obsessive fan base that figure skaters have.

Let's see, they have f'n Kate Gosselin, no Julianne, no Lacey, no Kym. I'll probably watch Erin Andrews' :drool: segments on Hulu the next day, but otherwise forget it.

Evan has to be a lock to win. Never heard of the football guy, but I don't follow the Bengals.

Nicole Scherzinger from Pussycat Dolls and Erin Andrews might be good.

Not sure if Shannon would be better than Jenny Garth. I've liked Brenda better than Kelly though.

I saw Buzz on C-SPAN last year and he seems like a cool guy, but pretty old. I hope he doesn't hurt himself.

Other than Pamela Anderson and Shannon Doherty, I have no idea who any of these other so-called "stars" might be. :shrug:
