Yup, seems fairly simple...

Although you forget they Zod will need a conveniently placed Kryptonite nail nearby.

Since Clark had no idea that his blood would activate their powers, why is saving Zod such a big deal? Had it just saved his life, would everyone be complaining?

The roof set up with Zod at the end of this ep was a total foreshadow Zod was going to be able to fly but I was a little nerd like annoyed Zod showed no learning curve at all.. booooooo!

yeah yeah yeah I know, Superman "not flying" is just part of the show at this point.. Hey at least we had another random concussion, after that is Smallville's version of Star Trek's tachyon beam.. Forgot who said it last year(can't take credit), but Lois's frequent concussions explains why she can't tell Clark Kent from Superman with just his glasses on.
