I don't mind it with this one. I'd prefer to see more of the interactions/schemings of the tribemates particularly since I enjoy seeing a lot of characters.

Bear with me as this is my first season watching Rupert (just recently watched a marathon of his original season), but has this resemblance ever been pointed out:

For that poor sportsmanship display by James, Jeff should have awarded the point to Randy. Heroes still would have won in the end, probably on the next matchup, but I wanted the matches to keep going on for it's an awesome challenge.

I hate to see Randy go, but he is the weakest physically. I loved his speech to Coach about not wanting to play anymore if they do not vote for Pavarti now. Randy's social skills are horrid, but damned if he isn't right about Pavarti. So sorry to see you go Randy.

For a moment I think Russell was going to form a solid alliance with Rob/Coach by voting for Pavarti, thus earning the trust of those guys. That could have made the game very interesting.

I'm ok with it for now. Everyone seems to be scheming and I like watching that. I'm sure once numbers start to dwindle they'll go back to two challenges an episode.

What's funny is that all the villains are totally on to Parvati, but then she smiles at them and they can't find it in themselves to vote her off.

Jeff mentioned it in his blog but he thought it was funny and wasn't insulted by it. That shit wirh James throwing his bag on top of Randy after he pushed him in the mud was fucked though. 'get your old ass up'...what is wrong with that guy? Easily on my most hated of all time list now. I'm really hoping he finds two immunity idols again, so he can get kicked off.

I thought it was messed up that James threw that pillow thing at Randy after he won, but if you watch one of the deleted clips on the CBS website, James, in a confessional shortly after the challenge, said he was really sorry for doing that. He also said that Randy had talked a ton of smack to him during the challenge so that kind of set him off.

Randy was hardly the weakest physically; it's a tribe with Sandra and Courtney. Jerri's no great shakes either. That was just an excuse they used; Randy was actually good at challenges in Gabon. He's just not going to beat James if there is no mental aspect to the challenge.

Re: Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - 2/25/10

Something that I was wondering is brought up in Jeff's blog:
Side note: Some of you may be wondering about the sit-out rule pertaining to back-to-back challenges. That rule only applies within an episode. Each new episode it starts fresh. Typically we have two challenges within an episode, but not always. So Courtney was able to sit out the last challenge (last week’s episode) and sit out again in this week’s challenge (new episode.) Hope that clears up any questions.

^ That's weak. So Courtney could sit out every one till they get back to two challenges/ep.

Was the challenge longer than the five seconds we saw on TV?

I guess it could have been during other people's matches.

I hated to see Randy go, and he was right about Parvati. She is going to run this game the same way she did last time.

I'm sure others will know for sure, but isn't it usually a few episodes in before they start offering separate reward challenges?

And when was the last time they even referred to the "luxury item" they bring to the game? They used to make a big deal about it in the first couple seasons.

And Amanda...damn. (And I know I'm in the minority, it seems, but I think Parvarti is pretty damn hot. If I'd been out in the game with her when I was single, I'd be the idiot who follows her around, for sure.)
