I'll give this show thru tonight to try and keep me in... So far it's been a borefest. I expected more angry robots not whiny mommy baggage and thuggish cops.

I wasn't really feeling it either but the last new one I really enjoyed so I'm around for a while at least.

I've been engrossed since the first episode so I'm looking forward to this.

I'm still watching, but admit I feel a bit bored with it. Although they say they will have vipers (yes!) on the show soon.

I didn't care for this episode. I've liked the show so far, so I'm not giving up on it. This was just a bad episode.

not looking too good when the biggest badass and most interesting character is the 70 year old grandmother.

Re: Caprica -- "Gravedancing" -- 02/19/10

I guess I'm the only one who really dug this episode. I especially enjoyed the nod to the original Battlestar Galactica when the old 70's theme played briefly on the stereo and when Sarno was squirming as Daniel and Amanda turned the audience to their favor. It's been a slow burn thus far but far more engrossing than the slow burn of this season of 24.

My only gripes were that Amanda didn't call Daniel or his assistant/partner when the cops where in the house (she just waited to show up in person?) and that she never told him anything afterwards.

the original BSG theme got some play again, that was good.
dancing robot was a bit lame

I like what somebody on another forum said: "That tech dude has a robot fetish!"

OK episode, better than the last one. I like that they got more night scenes which matches the mood better as opposed to the sunny bright day.

Hulu has it online already instead of Wed.

And Zoe 2.0 really seems to be crushing on him because he looks at her as a thing of beauty. That will not end well. :(

TallGuyMe was on the money. Grandma was hardcore.

I can now envision a scenario where I don't watch this show anymore. Truth be told, I continue to watch only due to ties with BSG-verse. However, the first hour of BSG was more entertaining than everything Caprica has delivered combined. I'll stick with it through the break, but I'm not sure I'll be back.

She could invite him into the V-world and it could end very well.

That is a possibility but I figure he'd freak once he realises the hot girl he's dating online is a robot.

Switch the robot for an overweight 42 year old man and you got the internet of today.

What a bizarre talk show. It's like a mix of Leno and O'Reilly.

Re: Caprica -- "Gravedancing" -- 02/19/10

I saw it more as just their version of The Daily Show.

I think whether one likes this show or not is absolutely tied to whether you came in expecting BSG 2.0, or more of a straight drama. So far it's okay, nothing great, but we're gonna stick with it for a few more episodes.

This show has promise, but so far it's been real slow. Love the nods to BSG. In fact, without them I probably wouldn't care about this show. Not ready to give up on it, but I hope it picks up the pace soon.

I'm enjoying it except for the church of the one stuff. Boring.

I don't think this is going to be the kind of show that "picks up the pace."

I did like the whole war on terror/police power analogy though.

The previews for next week make it appear as though it will pick up the pace... if it doesn't, I'm out.
