Damages -- "Flight's at 11:08" -- 02/08/10

Damages

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Patty must stop a key witness in the Tobin case from fleeing the country; Ellen learns a dark family secret.

Red Dog: Did you manage to catch last week's episode via re-air?

Anyways, 2 episodes down and I'm really intrigued where this season is going. I'm a little surprised that this show isn't getting better ratings and more publicity. Seems like a very small portion of this forum is into it. I know this is a very difficult show to watch with so many plot twists which could be the main reason.

Well this is my first time watching the show and I love it so far. Eventually I will go back and watch the first 2 seasons but I like it.

Yeah, this season is off to a great start. Here's hoping it maintains its momentum.

Loved Patty showing up at the airport and the look on Martin Short's face.

Glenn was excellent!

Without any flashbacks or "6 Months Later" flashes, this was one of the most straight-forward episodes of the series. I'm guessing the glimpses into the personal lives of both Ellen and Tom are to show some of the turmoil that might bring the two together/seek comfort in each other.

Ellen's sister = ouch

Great episode and no flashback/forwards.

Now why would Ellen go and call Patty? What is her reasoning behind it?

So I wonder how this broad is involved if not the old man's mistress.

I really thought that this episode was terrific, especially from the standpoint that the plot did not become outlandish and the actions people took were logical and believable.

I'm loving the season so far. Martin Short is great without being funny. I keep expecting him to break out in Ed Grimley or something.

I enjoyed this episode more due to the lack of flashbacks/forwards as well. But don't get used to it, they showed plenty in the preview for next week's episode.
