Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Oliver's past comes back to haunt him in the form of The Dark Archer (guest star Steve Bacic), Oliver's former teacher, who seeks revenge on his student by taking aim at Lois and Chloe. Oliver faces down The Dark Archer after his former mentor kidnaps Mia AKA "Speedy" (guest star Elise Gatien) but is pushed to his limit and Clark races to stop him from making another deadly mistake.

Finally!! It's back. Out of everything that's been on hiatus from the Fall, I've missed this the most and it was on such a roll creatively going into the break.

The 2 hour Smallville movie "Absolute Justice" will premiere next Friday.

:hscratch: I thought Absolute Justice was going to be the first episode(s) of the new year.

Here's a :30 trailer for Absolute Justice. Looks awesome.

+1

They better do a hefty "Previously on" before this episode. I barely remember where we left Zoddie and his gang.

I believe the last episode had Zod telling his people to kneel before Kal El.

Damn straight!

I really hope we get a continued arch for each of the characters in the back half of the season. Most importantly I'm worried about Lois. I do hope that "reporter instinct" kicks in and she uncovers things or won't let go of "something's missing". Otherwise, despite the flashes being a very strong plot point for both her chracter and the overall story for the front half, I'll be very disappointed if it is also left at a reset button when all is said and done.

Isnt it strange for a popular serial to be on friday ??

Re: Smallville -- "Disciple" -- 01/29/10

Not when it was supposedly it's 9th and last season, and they needed to use the "lucrative" Thursday 8 p.m. timeslot to cultivate a new show in hopes of better ratings.

It was always scheduled to air in February. The episode called "Warrior" was originally supposed to air out of the break, but got pushed back to Feb. 12th.

Well that means it will probably be a stand-alone episode without much season impact if they could shuffle the order. I guess they could re-edit some season plot pieces into it though.

So this aired at the same time as Dollhouse?

Yea. I elected to watch Dollhouse live; I'll get to Smallville in a bit.

Nope your shit out of luck. Smallville has always been at 8pm on Friday's, I don't know what would make you think otherwise.

No big loss. It's not the episode I was hoping to see anyway. I can always wait for a rerun later in the season.

Well, it hasn't always been at 8 PM Fridays, but we know what you mean. ;)

Okay episode. Every scene involving Zod was great, the rest was whatever. Big props to Callum Blue once again on playing a pretty damn good Zod. You can tell how average all the other actors are (especially Welling) during their scenes together.

I am so hyped for next week. This trailer kicks so much ass. http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/01/...stice-trailer/

I didn't buy the Vodigan guy and his motivations at all.
OK episode. Looking forward to next weeks.

Apparently Clark had time to stop and change on his way to the maze and saving Oliver and Mia:lol:

Liking the Zod story

Lois: Hmmm someone is shooting at me from the top of a building. Instead of ducking behind the car, let me run in the open street in high heels.
Chloe: Hmmm an intruder is in the watchtower. Let me just stand here and wait to greet him.
Clark: Hmmm after introducing myself to Zod, let me tell him I dont trust him, that I dont want him near my friends, that they should fear me and that I will not help him get his powers.

Other than the Zod stuff, this episode seemed bleh to me.

Agree very much.
Lois might as well put a bullseye on her back, just stupid writing.
And the other bow and arrow guy looks more like Green Arrow then the guy on this show does.

I roll my eyes every time Zod blathers about this stupid plan.
