I'm enjoying the entire season. I haven't convinced anyone that it's worth watching, but I'm hooked.

Couldn't they have gotten someone who doesn't look 12 years old to play Anna? The shot of the bartender vampire and her making out at the end was creepy.

I liked the main story with Stefan and Damon working together to protect Elena.

^ Haha, yeah that was a little, um...odd. That said though, I enjoyed the episode last night. Good to see Sean Faris (Never Back Down) show up as yet another vamp. :up:

Except for the clever inclusion of several "period" 50's songs covered by contemporary artists, this was sort of a yawner to me.

Starting to throw too many Vamps at me and I'm losing track. I thought the bartender guy was the one that was hunting Elena? I was digging Anna but I'm assuming she'll be dead soon.

All the girls in there 50's get ups looked really hot this week.

No the Bartender is the ex-football player who it turns out is a Vamp. The one who was hunting Elana was some random Vampire we hadnt seen before and was part of a clique with the young girl vamp and the bartender.

Also Nina and the blonde from the show in a bikini.

Agreed. It's one thing when she's crushing on a guy in his mid teens but absolutely creepy when she's making out with a guy in his twenties.

How is this show so freaking good? I don't think anybody would have thought it would get this good after the pilot.

The bartender and the pizza guy just looked too similar. For a moment when we saw the bartender I also though, "Pizza guy has a second job?"

I'm Alaric's character more and more and hope he doesn't go away anytime soon. He's a good influence for Jeremy developing.

I liked how Elana somewhat stood up for herself. However, if I were her I'd be getting as much training as I could.

So Alaric's wife was Elana's mother?? :eek:
