I didn't mind meeting Gilroy so early and already having him poke his nose into Michaels' business. I thought it was a pretty entertaining episode, too. But I didn't care too much about the change of heart Fi has had. Not more than a month or so ago, she was going to run back to Ireland because of being tired of Michael's quest to get back in the game and clear the Burn Notice. Now it's somehow ok as long as it gives her a moment to bitch about it each week.

Yeah the Michael/Fi on again off again plot is starting(?) to get old - it just seems like it's no longer needed and the show can stand on it's own without that underlying thread

I really liked the case of the week even if Michael was taking absurd risks and could have been shot and killed what seemed like a few dozen times and:
- The threat of snapping his fingers I thought was awesome
- The re-hash of the spy 101 voiceover about "Meetings at a pool can be..." , but with a slightly different twist on it was a nice touch
- It seems like Gilroy might be actually be written as a 'fair' fight for Michael... I know Michael's supposed to be a superspy and he does suffer some setbacks from time to time, but I'd like the idea of him going up against someone who can potentially outwit him at times.

Anyone else think Fi is spending too much time in the sun?

Well, it's not like they're in Minnesota.

I loved the mysterious "devil" persona Michael took up with the gang.

I liked the false prisoner ruse with the polystyrene handcuff link. It reminds me of busting Princess Leia out of the stockade in Star Wars.

I really loved that episode. The devil persona was great and the finger snapping was perfect. Also its always good to see Danny Trejo.

Danny Trejo was a total shocker. I didn't even see his name in the beginning so when he came on screen I almost did a spit take. And then I thought, it would be funny as hell if this was his only scene. Glad he stuck around for the entire episode though.

I thought Donovan did a great job of channeling Dirty Harry for his devil persona. The whole snapping fingers thing was just terrific.

Speaking of Trejo, did you know they are actually making a full feature of the Grindhouse Machete trailer?

I was also a fan of Trejo on there, great to see him in this show. This season has been lining up awesome guest starts, we've already had Daly, Trejo, I really like the Chris Vance role and I saw that Carlos Bernard is going to be appearing later.

Tony Almeida and Michael Westen in one ep might be too much awesome in one episode.
