Re: New Lost in Less than One Week
As I stalled for time until the season opener of Lost, I thought I'd re-watch Saw (which I hadn't seen in years) last night.
Lo and behold, Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus) and Ken Leung (Miles Straume) figure prominently in Saw, so I spent much of the time reminded that I'm just waiting for Lost to start back up.

We see the promos that say something like "Your Questions Will Be Answered" and I always think "No They Won't Be."

I noticed that my Cox DVR box thinks the premiere episode is 2.5 hours long (9pm - 11:30pm EST).
Did I miss a memo or is that an over-estimation?

Agreed. The beginning of Season 3 was a little slow and a bumpy ride but by mid-way through that season onward they have been golden. It's going to be both awesome and sad to see the show end, and the idea of this Season Premiere being the last is emotional in itself.

I'm all caught up, now I don't have to avoid the water cooler chatter.
I just finished Season 5 after finishing Seasons 3 & 4 on BD. I watched Seasons 1& 2 as they were broadcast, but work forced me to miss 3-5.
I'm definitely looking forward to this final season, so much so that I may comment in these threads.

I did not. Time travel = fail. I hated when the show completely gave up on anything taking place in the "real" world.
Had some ok episodes along the way but the time travel was a complete joke. The creators were so adamant early on that everything could be explained by science that I feel let down that they abandoned reality for the "twist" that time travel brought to the show.
A real backslide in quality for me. And the running LOST problem of no one asking anyone a straight question seem to get even worse last season.

Couldn't resist either. It's really only the last 2 minutes or so that's new footage and it's nothing groundbreaking.
Having said that, I did kinda get goosebumps.
