I'd read somewhere that they were both gonna wind up airing in March. Not sure where I read it however.

I really feel like this show is starting to hit its stride now and am finding myself more and more entertained. Is it pretty much a sure thing that it is dead?

Yes. They would have gotten the pickup for the back 9 already. Fasion also just got cast in a CBS Pilot (not guaranteed its dead...just likely).
