Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Noah, Lauren and Suresh take action against the Carnival; Sylar turns to Matt for help understanding his longing for a human connection; and Peter cautions Emma about Samuel's true intentions.

This is episode 17. Only 2 more left....I know most of you can't wait until it's over.

Realistically I think this might be it for me. After episode 19, I'm through with this show whether or not it comes back for a season 5, which is extremely doubtful considering the ratings plummeted to an all-time low last week.

2 more left with this one, or after this one?

In a way, I almost hope they come back. Leaving like this after such a disappointing last few seasons is just wrong for a shot which was so good in it's first season. But again, history has shown us that they can't make a decent season anymore.

Should be two more after this. It's a 19 episode season, and this is episode 17.

Haha, such a great title...

I wouldn't be surprised if they did another season. All they need are 20 or so episodes for 100, and then they are more successful in syndicating the show after that. It's a question if they think it will be financially viable.

Wow, even DJariya is on the verge of giving up? Don't you watch everything?

If it's renewed, it'll probably be because NBC needs a slot to fill or pressure from higher up the corporate ladder since it does well overseas and on video. I don't think syndication is a huge concern. The 100 episode mark doesn't mean as much as it used to, and heavily serialized shows like this generally don't repeat well anyway.

I mean, iCarly got better ratings in the demo last week than Heroes did.

The first thing that tipped me off that HRG wasn't the gunman...

Spoiler:
... he wouldn't have missed.

Multiple man was a freakin' Stormtropper with that rifle!

That and hitting Claire Bear. Even with her healing he still would've freaked out.

Yep, the moment I saw it I knew it was not him, he would never make such a mistake.

Claire was an idiot. The very first thing that should have come out of her mouth was "my dad didn't do it, he wouldn't have shot me".

That was that as well, should we get into the part of Sylar WANTING someone that can control peoples minds to mess with his? Wow, leaving yourself open there is bit.

I thought this was probably the best episode of the season.

A major improvement over last weeks show.

So they don't even give the illusion that they're taking Sylar off the canvas for any sort of significant time.

How long until Kring comes out and says they know what they did wrong this season and will fix it next season?

I have to agree! There was good action and at least some plot progression.

The only thing I'm wondering is Lydia had said Peter would be their leader, but how will he get out of Sylar's head while still leaving Sylar there?

Better episode but I'm damn tired of the same shitty plot-device being used: the "you just missed that person/opportunity" crutch that's always being used.

Claire just missed her father when she was going to tell him about the Carnival, CIA lady just missing her chance to shoot multiple man because of her injuries, Peter just missed Sylar being turned into a vegetable, the carnies just missed HRG say he didn't do it/HRG just passed out before he could say it was multiple man, Ray Park just missed the shootings when he could have helped to stop them, Claire just missed Samuel's confession to Lydia because she conveniently left to go get something with the PuppetMaster guy.

I was just relieved that, with "The Art of Deception," as the episode title, we didn't have someone's eyes go white and paint a nuclear explosion.

Wow, another show that sucked balls. The last 4-5 shows if this season have been very painful.

Yet another Sylar wants to be nice episode, and Peter comes in and what, he's now the one that's trapped?

As for the whole Noah / Claire sequence, it was pretty obvious that he didn't shoot. Especially since Claire was shot. Frankly, I can't wait for this to end. It's that damn bad. If things keep getting worst, I'll have to call this show LOST #2.

The Patrellis and Parkman need to be offed. They being NOTHING but shitty attempts as drama that just don't work. Hiro is annoying as hell but at least him and Ando can bring the funny sometimes.

I liked most of heroes but I thought this was one of the worst episodes.

Claire tells the guy to put pressure on the wound instead of dropping some of her blood in the girl's mouth to heal her. Did she forget she has the power to heal people with her blood?

Claire warns a mass murderer with the power to level a town that her father is coming. Her rationale is that she doesn't want any of the other people to get hurt. What about her father. The guy with no powers. Maybe you should just let your father do his freaking job. This just seemed dumb to me. It is like they are making her do stupid things as much as they make Hiro do silly things.

Why didn't Parkman cut off Sylar's head. Or why did he put him in his basement instead of trying to call HRG. He know the guy can't die from old age or from being walled up. Sooner or later he'll get out of there.

Claire warning Lydia & Samuel that her dad was coming was a very typical reaction, she's been this way since the series started. At least it's in character.
