FYI for those who have recording conflicts with this show. There will be Wednesday re-airs only through the end of February.

Haven't watched episode 2 yet, but I'm hoping the ratings hold up with the competition this week. I'm actually watching this 1st over Heroes.

I really liked episode 2. It's fixed a lot of the problems I had with the 'pilot,' and I feel like the cast is really starting to click together. Although I kept getting the feeling that this episode and the pilot was suppose to be a single 2-hour episode.

It didn't look like Lux's new room in the attic had any insulation. I can't see the social worker thinking that was cool.

No way. Look at Shiri's hair - it was shot several months after the Pilot was shot (which was in March IIRC, and episode 2 started production in September or October).

Not to mention the bong lamp. She would probably ask if they owned two of them.

I took it as Base gave it to Lux so she could have something of his at Kate's. Of course, a bong lamp isn't the best present. At least it wasn't the sheep.

I thought so as well. It really set up both the parents in their roles. I'm sure the entire season will be "coming to terms", but this left things more at acceptance rather than forced situation. It also gave Kate and Baze more insight into where Lux was coming from in order to generate some of that want.

I do feel like some of the foreshadowing is thick, but I suppose that's the nature of how a show such as this is written. For example, continually bringing the sleeping incident up and saying it must never be spoken of or else. Like that's just not waiting to hit the fan?

I do think the addition of Lux's friends helped flesh out the foster world. I think that was a good thing, although we did get a sense of that in the pilot, especially with her bags already packed. However, I would welcome seeing more of that and how those relationship mature. Plus I think it will serve as a good anchoring point to show much, or little, progress Baze, Kate and Ryan are really making.

That gal friend of Lux's would make a heckuva of a teen Klingon with that 5-head of hers.

HA! That's funny.

I watched both episodes earlier this week. I like it. I thought the pilot was pretty funny. 2nd episode was a step up in quality from pilot.

I get a very "warm fuzzy" feeling watching this show. It's nice.

Whew, just found out Brittany Robertson (Lux) is nearly 20 years old. She's got that wry, accessible air about her, and very cute. And she does bleach her hair blonde (done so for the past 2-3 years or more).

I was waiting for Lux to yell "HEED! PANTS! NOW!"

She's beautiful.

She looks very different as a brunette, though.

I guess I'm in the minority that liked the pilot better than this episode. I thought the stuff with her friends dragged the episode down.

Wasn't the thing with the on air memo too contrived?
