Community -- "Interpretive Dance" -- 01/21/10

Community

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Jeff tries to keeps his new relationship a secret, but the study group doesn't make it easy for him. Elsewhere, Troy and Britta come clean with their own secrets.

NBC ordered more episodes of Community...3 more to be exact. We are now getting a 25 episode season.

Hated Jack Black last week....So fricking annoying. The Owen Wilson cameo was cool at the end.

Dammit, I was staring at her eyes every time she was on screen.

Anyway, I loved this episode. Among the best.

Annie's reaction whenever Troy and Britta were together was great.

Pierce at the dance recital had me on the floor. Every thing he said had me

Great episode, but now whenever I look at Britta I can only stare at her eyes.

Culturally it's unacceptable...but it's theatrically dynamite!

Has this show gotten any better? I'm in a bit of a drought as far as tv goes and I gave up on this around the 3rd episode but I'll go back and watch them all if it's gotten any better. So my question is, has it hit it's stride or is it still more of the same first few episodes

Re: Community -- "Interpretive Dance" -- 01/21/10

Guess I'm in the minority here. I took an involuntary break from the show when our DVR bit the dust and I couldn't get into this episode, the first one I had seen in about two months. While I thought the show came out of the gate strong (and I realize I'm in the minority with that opinion as well), this episode just didn't grab me compared to the first few.

I personally hated the first couple episodes. I thought the writing had potential, but the acting was beyond awful, and I was shocked that anybody on the planet could possibly like the show. I almost went on Facebook and (sarcastically) asked all my friends who liked the show to de-friend me (but if you liked Avatar, please de-friend me immediately). It was awful.

But I stuck with it, only due to the fact that I liked the other 3 Thursday night NBC shows and sometimes the DVR messes up. I grew to love it and now consider it the 2nd best overall show of the night after 30 Rock.

I was honestly shocked that it got better (and/or I changed/softened), as I really hated the first episodes. First time I remember doing a 180 on a show.

I didn't really find this episode all that funny. There were some scenes, but overall they've had a lot better.

This thread needs more hot Alison Brie pics.

(Edit: Ack. Someone moved them.)
