Shambo is such a stinking idiot, but I'm so glad she's in this making it interesting. Poor girl.

I don't know if Russell will win, but what he's done with flipping the balance is nothing short of amazing. Foa Foa came into the merge with 4 people to Galu's 8. It is unbelievable that Russell has basically masterminded and manipulated 4 straight Galu exits with another likely next week, and he's got Shambo (who most everyone hates) in his pocket to take with him to the finals. Like him or not, he called his puppeteering skills at the very beginnning and so far he has delivered.

You're getting the babes mixed-up. It was Nat that took the shower. Monica got to eat a whole chicken.:)

Between the shower porn and Shambo's nightmare sequence, you can tell the editor's had a blast with this one.

And it must be their mission at this point to leave no trace of Brett ever having been on Survivor.

I loved watching John's expression as each vote for him was read. He looked very much like this:

At least John has the distinction of making the greatest decision in Survivor history by graciously stepping aside and allowing Natalie to take the shower.

And I wasn't clear on the whole pie deal. If he chose to divvy up the whole pie did that then mean that he wouldn't get any? And I loved the look on Jeff's face as Shambo digged into her sea slug delight.

Shambo's chicken nightmare reminds me of fever dreams I've had.

I think the next item up for bid after Natalie started the shower should have been:

5 minutes of access to the video monitor showing the live feed from the hidden "shower-cam".

I wonder what was up with John putting Mick's name down. Maybe just so he could say he never voted for Dave I guess.

He was going along with his "agreement" with Russell, who had said they would vote Mick out...

Forget about is Russell is going to win or not. Has anyone on this show ever had as big a fucking blast playing as he has?

He walked in the door calling himself the puppet master and then proceeds to coordinate EVERY ELIMINATION with the exception of the Galu before the Merge and the first one after...and even for that one he pulled out one of his THREE IDOLS

Not really . If someone was a jerk to you and you hated them after being voted out on day ---- whatever your not gonna be like wow he gave such an impressive speech at the Final Tribal Council it changes everything he/she now gets my vote to win.

Russell said at the beginning that he's not in it for the money anyway. I think keeping everyone else from winning by getting them voted off is reward enough for him. This has definitely turned out to be one of the most entertaining seasons.

I think, other than John, most likely Russell won't get any jury votes unless it's a F2 with Shambo.

Like John has said, these people are NOT strategic thinkers. I'd bet the farm they vote anyone Galu over Foa Foa unless the Shambo is the Galu member. John is the only exception that might vote based on game play.

And I was kinda rooting for John! At least now I'll get to see what he looks like cleaned up!

Yeah, I wanted to know that too. A few people in the comment section of Jeff's blog asked the very same thing and he replied with this

The SOUP – I am sorry to tell you that I have no idea how it tasted. I don’t watch footage, I never asked, I never knew it was even a topic of conversation on the beach. I’m guessing it tasted about as you would expect…

Guess we will have to wait until the reunion show to find out.

Amen! This is one of the better seasons in a while!

I don't understand the risk Foa took in taking out John this week. I guess it worked out... So far

Where was the risk? It was the smartest move at this point in the game.

At the off chance anyone on Galu grew a brain when Russell told Dave he was safe for 1 more round and the target was now John, Dave could have alterted John he was about to blindsided who then could have alerted Shambo who he was close with that Russell was about to betray John/Shambo and since Shambo is a purely emotional player all her irrational rage directed at people like Dave would have been redirected at Russell and they could have used there 5-4 numbers advantage to take out a Foa Foa. But of course why fight for yourself to stay in the game when you can roll over like a fish for 3 more days of safety like Dave chose to.

I woud love to here the rationale these Galu have at the reunion for throwing there game down the crapper when they had an 8-4 advantage. It was simple . All they had to do was vote out the 4 Foa Foa's then implode on 1 another.

In other news Kirstie Alley called some people not selective eaters.

Pissing off Shambo and pushing her to her old team.
