Argh it's times like these I wish there was a Costco closer to my house and I had a membership, that's a great price as both were pretty nice sets (I borrowed them from a friend years back).

Re: Carnivale - 6 years later
Just finished watching the entire series. The "conclusion" wrapped up lots of story elements but left character fates open-ended. I thought I would be angry, but I'm at peace with it. I would have been pissed at the time though.
The finale was more satisfying than the Sopranos ending though. |

I loved this show. Clancy Brown's performance was startling in its intensity, and this had the best use of Little Mike since Twin Peaks.

Big fan of Carnivale as well. One of the few shows that actually deserved more time unlike many of the long running shows today.

It was a great show. I am surprised it lasted two seasons on HBO, the huge ensemble cast could not have been cheap.

What a great interview. I love his vision for the show, and I just loved everything he said. It makes me tremendously more upset that this show was canceled. I loved hearing how the bible of the show came about. It's stuff like that where you really have complete confidence in the creativity of the writers. This could have been something truly epic in scope.

Carnivale fans might find this interesting. Show creator Daniel Knauf recently shared quite a bit of detail with the A.V. Club about his intended vision for the show and how it came to be.

Re: Carnivale - 6 years later
To date, I've never seen a single episode of this show. Barely remember the ads.
