Decent episode but the on again off again relationahip with Elena and Stefan is getting old.

So is Alaric a vampire or is whoever Elena hit what turned Logan? I got the vibe that Alaric some sort of a slayer.

Either way, this show is fun to watch because it just keeps pressing on.

The CW must really feel good about this show to re-air all 10 episodes during the week of 12/14/09. That's almost unprecedented on a broadcast network (not a cable network channel).

Another really good ep. There was some good Elena cleavage for once (I mean really, who wears sweaters ALL THE TIME?!)

Sucks we gotta wait until January, though.

"I LOVE this show, did anyone else get the "werewolf" foreshadowing? The shot of the full moon, the teacher calling the mayor a "alpha male douche" and Elena's brother asking the mayor's son (can't remember his name) "what is happening to you? and him replying "I don't know".

They definitely were hinting werewolf with those things.

I don't know what Alaric is, but he was waiting for an invite to Elena's house. That could be a red herring though.

Caroline just can't catch a break.

It looks like Elena's parents may have been hunters or something. They were on the council if I recall so they must have known about the vampires. I think their car crash wasn't how they really died.

^ I noticed that too and wonder if werewolves will get added into the mix. It wouldn't surprise me. I know nothing about the books, so don't know if they show up there.

Logan bit the dust faster than I thought. I expected him to hang around for at least a few episodes, but this has been happening a lot so far.

Poor Caroline. She should just stay inside and stay away from vampires.

Another great episode! I'm going to have to pass along the week long catch up marathon the CW will be putting on.

I actually think it would be cool if Alaric were a hunter and not a vampire. I took the focus on the ring and asking to come in as sings that he already was one. However, I think the writers may actually be going for smart!

Talk about Elana jetting out of there faster than a speedy vampire!

Can't wait for this show to come back next year. This is perhaps the most improved I've ever seen a show grow so quick from a pilot.
