The Wedding episodes were the first episodes I watched of The Office. After that, I thought I would never watch another episode.

Well, these past few weeks I've watched episodes on Hulu and a ton on TBS. I can't stop! Help! I work with paper vendors everyday, so it makes it that much funnier.

I kinda like tonight's episode.

For those who have seen the final episode of this season of Mad Men: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Was Pam drawing guns on the Mexican standoff at the very end of the tag or did I miss that?

kinda felt like a story arc that might potentially lead up to a series finale... does anybody know if a seventh season has been ordered?

Spoiler:
is that David Brent wasn't with Wernham Hogg by the end of the series. Gareth was running the branch.

Did anyone pick up that Michael stated he had a vasectomy. Which makes it interesting that he wants kids and thats why he dumped Pam's mom.

More like wishful thinking. But I remember reading when the first season of the Office was coming out, Gervais was asked if Brent would eventually make an appearance. He said if the show outlasted his, then that would definitely be an option. For the life of me, I can't remember where I read it (People perhaps or TV Guide), but in the back of my mind I have really been hoping this. Of course, it would change the original Office storyline somewhat. But how damn funny would be be for Brent and Scott to try going up against one another? More than likely to win the title "World's Greatest Boss".

A few season's ago, Jan made him get a vasectomy... I think he had it reversed when they broke up.

There's a shot of him parking his car and walking into the office. Then he walks up to Michael and says "Sorry I'm late, boss." Michael responds (in his "southern accent") "It's a good thing you're here now because there's been a murder and you're a suspect." Creed says "Let me get settled in at my desk -- I'll be right back." Cut to a scene of Creed sprinting back to his car, getting in, and peeling out of the parking lot.

Weird. I have no recollection of that. This will teach me to watch The Office at quarter to 8 in the morning.

Goddamn Dragon Age is screwing up my TV watching. My TiVo is going to explode from all the unwatched programming from this week.

I love Michael's business knowledge--
Oscar: Maybe they're not going to shut down. Maybe they're just going to restructure.
Michael: Oh gosh that sounds awful.
Awesome stuff.

And loved Jim's acknowledgment of how he only works hard "when things are bad."

Actually, he got one, then reveresed it, then reversed that (and might have reversed it again)...Jan kept changing her mind.

I loved it when Jim yelled at Michael (which I would have done myself) and it was even better when Michael yelled back. I always enjoy the dramatic moments on this show.

Awesome episode.

Best Creed moment of the season. Top three easily.
I love the subplot of Dunder Mifflin become bankrupt/insolvent - some real drama there
This episode made Michael into a great boss, and not the buffoon like he is every other week

This one didnt do much for me. Chuckled at the Tube City bit, but otherwise found it pretty staid and a lot of the jokes were predictable, like the Creed bit, Dwight intro, the Andy-Erin mixup, and Jim kowtowing to the zaniness.

Prediction (I dont know any inside info):

Dunder Mifflin survives but they have to reduce costs, so they demote Jim back to salesman. I dont like him as a manager anyway.

I thought that Michael's "THEY NEED THIS" line to Jim was among the most poignant in the series.

I assume you mean "a great boss" in the The Office universe. In a real life situation this was the most buffoonish he's ever acted in the history of the show. Talks of the company going under and he decides to ignore everything business related and play a murder mystery game? Idiotic in real life.

However, in The Office universe it was brilliant. Completely and totally unrealistic in every way, but it worked.

There was a "Micheal under his breath" line that cracked me up, I had to rewind to catch it.

When Jim told Michael they should both get back to work so others would follow:

Michael: Mnnkey see, monkey do, monkey pee all over you.
Jim: Yes, that rhymes.

Yeah, it was great having Michael telling smug Jim to shut the hell up already. Getting sick of Jim's attitude on this show.
