I have a feeling I'm going to be very happy with the guest appearance.

Whoo hoo! My first live episode. I spent the summer watching seasons 1-3, nabbed 4 back in September and just caught up with season 5 over the weekend.

The scene of Barney/Robin trying to decide whether to get married: Scherbatsky is too hard to spell

Was that supposed to be the robot from Lost In Space?

What a great episode.

I liked the scene in the station wagon with the Storm Trooper debate and Marshall whining about not getting a van.

Looks like we haven't see the last of Robin Sparkles. They're going to beat the joke into the ground.

Considering that "Slap Bet" is the best episode they've done, and they've only done one other "Sparkles" episode that was also a classic, I really don't care how often they revisit it. Plus, it's just a damn funny backstory and the look on Barney's face when he realized that more material exists in the world was priceless.

A pretty good episode. Now that they've ended the Barney/Robin thing I hope they can just move on from it instead of doing the whole "are we friends or not" storyline that they already did with Robin and Ted.

I loled at the scene where Ted and Marshall are trying to get Lily to break them up.

Wow considering how everyone liked this episode I must be losing it with this show. I just do not care about the characters anymore especially how they dumbed down Marshall.

How so? Like I posted above I just finished watching all 4.5 seasons. He's been pretty dumb from the get go.

Yeah, I'll need an example of that. They usually make Marshall out to be the smartest of the group (LAWYERED!)

Marshall has always been dumbed down.

while i don't think marshall has changed drastically, i do think that the show has suffered since last season.

Again, give me an example of Marshall being "dumb." The only thing I can think of is the mistake of buying their apartment. And that was more about just making an impulse purchase.

ON topic of the episode, I was wondering how they would play out the Barney and Robin relationship, and now they can get back to Barney being the man whore he is. "Daddy's Home"

So since there is an actual Robin Sparkles video there must really be a Variety Hour video already out there.

It seemed like they called back to Lily breaking up Ted's relationships and "the Kracken". Did I miss an episode? I don't remember this.

You must have. They didn't call her the Kraken but Lily was responsible for breaking up Ted and Laura Prepon. I think in the episode about the "front porch test".

judging by the "Danger Will Robinson" line that was used multiple times, I would say yes.
