The impressionist payoff was a bit too easy to predict, but it somehow did not hurt the comic capability of this episode at all. I think my favorite part was the Tracy and Jenna recruitment scene.

I loved the Cathy Geiss as Susan Boyle bit. And Jack's subway experiences were so awesome.

Damn NBC for not giving my DVR accurate cut-off information. I'll have to see the end bit on Hulu tomorrow.

Geiss' Daughter

This was a classic episode!! A+
So many rapid fire bits...
"Hey stop it! You know my fontanel never closed."
"The Hornberger system will de-vail...is that the opposite of prevail?"
Poor Dot Com. First, no respect from Jenna ("Beat it Grizz or Dot Com!"), and then Tracy's vicious words ("Nice to meet you." )
Lemon and the "sandwich"
And Geiss' daughter/Susan Boyle -- amazing.

I liked the quick hit about the Winter Olympics "which are in February on NBC."
Plus Kenneth's "Vampyr" when Jenna flash floated in front of him from across the room.

The Susan Boyle bit was awesome, especially considering Kathy Geiss was an existing character. Jack on the subway had me rolling.

A few good laughs here and there but so far this season there has only been 1 episode that really flat out worked for me (redesigning the microwave)... something just feels OFF about 30 Rock this year... not nearly as funny as it has been in the past, a lot of it has felt disjointed and the NBC plugging which was once smart/funny now feels like pandering. It is still early so I'm not worried yet, but before this season if you asked me what was the funniest show on television, I wouldn't have hesitated to say "30 Rock". If I was asked today I'd have to think it over, because Modern Family, Curb, Parks & Rec and The Office have been giving it a great run for it's money. I don't know what it is, but this season has been extremely underwhelming.

I liked the episode, but thought it was one of the weaker ones of the season. Maybe it was Jack's itching and talk of bedbugs. eesshh...makes me uneasy to think about it.

Season 3 was fantastic, especially once they got past all the guest stars. This season seems a bit forced.
