NEW YORK, October 26, 2009 – The Japanese are on a mad-hunt to kill all the world’s dolphins and whales in an all-new "South Park" titled, "Whale Whores," premiering on Wednesday, October 28 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.

Stan and his family are spending his birthday at the Denver Aquarium where they will get to swim with the dolphins. Things turn bloody when the Japanese attack, kill all the dolphins and ruin Stan’s big day. There seems to be no end to the senseless killing. Stan takes on the cause to save the dolphins from the Japanese.

This seems tied to the new documentary "The Cove," which is about the dolphin killing industry and has been making waves on the festival circuit (including recently at the Tokyo Film Fest where fishing execs walked out in protest).

Very good episode. Cartman singing Poker Face was hilarious. Randy was also hilarious when he wanted a kiss from the dolphin.

Having seen a couple episodes of Whale Wars and vowing to watch never again, I absolutely loved this episode. Spot on!

I didnt like it so much. I think it was just that three episodes in a row, especially the last two, that take aim at current tv shows was a bit much and kinda' lazy.
Once and awhile is fine, but hopefully next week they dont revolve the plot around mocking Top Chef, American Chopper, or more such nonsense.

This episode was absolutely hilarious. Especially since a former hippie co-worker of mine quit his job and joined the Sea Shepherd crew and did pretty much jack shit the entire time.

Loved Cartman singing Lady Gaga.

It's great they pointed out that they've been doing this for years and haven't gotten anything accomplished aside from trying to grab TV ratings. One documentary like "The Cove" will have 1000x more impact on saving dolphins and whales than 10 seasons of Whale Wars.
