Can I request that the episode titles be left out of the thread titles for this series? The titles are often the punchline of the teaser, and I often have that joke ruined by accidentally seeing it on this board.

If this is serious, I'd like to express my opposition to this idea. I am not spoiler-sensitive at all but don't mind taking steps to help those of you who are. With that said, removing something as basic as episode title tilts the scale too far. How would we keep track of the episodes? Airdate? Episode number? These are no substitute for episode titles, particularly when talking about a show with such notorious and memorable episode titles.

No -- after the teaser. It truthfully is often the teaser punchline. Often the joke is that one of the gang says they're not going to do something and the episode title confirms that they will.

I actually thought about this issue (kind of) when I made this thread this morning, in that it seemed kind of silly to spoilerize the synopsis when it's pretty much the same as the episode title, for this week at least.

But really, there's no other practical way to construct a thread title for this show. And I like to include the title in both the thread subject and in the body because the search function here is so screwy. It's best to have both bases covered.

(I can't be the only person here who discovers an older show and then long after the fact reads threads about it to see what other members had to say.)

That episode was brilliant. This season has been firing on all cylinders.

The scene at dinner with Charlie was hilarious. Dee's plan was great; I love when they use Mac's mom. The Frank and Artemis storyline seemed a little wasted; it was funny, but almost an afterthought. Loved when Frank said he banged the Waitress though. The ending was nice too; shows that Charlie really does love the Waitress and even though he was happy she wasn't getting married, he felt bad that she was hurt. Either way, he was going to get revenge on the guy with a brilliant box full of hornets (awesome how there just so happened to sprout up a hornet nest in the bar).
