This was probably already posted but what the hell, it's great:

And his "The Rather late Programme" sketches always make me laugh my ass off:

Boy, that Matt LeBlanc interview was pretty rough; he seemed like he had a cold and whether that made him off his game or what, it seemed tough for Craig to pull any good work/lines out of him.
Felt terribly awkward long before the pause.
The second guy (David Pogue) seemed much more enamored with Craig's sense of humor and much more personable. Fun interview.

I just watched the LeBlanc interview. Not really a huge fan of his, but I didn't think he was all that bad. He did seem like he had a cold or something though. I still think the worst interview I've ever seen on this show was Paula Abdul a few weeks back.

My two favorite hosts coming together is really cool. Craig on Conan this week is a can't miss show for sure!! Been hoping for this to happen for a while now as I saw his appearance with him on the Late Night show and it was hilarious.

I love both Conan and Craig, but that was pretty weak given the potential. An average Craig interview is more entertaining than that was. I think it would have been better if Conan was a guest of Craig's, given Craig's ability to just goof around and have a fun back and forth. Conan pretty much just stuck to his questions.

It was a striking reminder how unique Craig's interviewing style really is. I like Conan, but if there was ever a display of how paint-by-numbers his style is, it was sitting across the desk from Craig Ferguson.

Craig: "What time is it Geoffrey Peterson?"
Geoff: "Tweet me Craig, tweet me real hard!"
Craig: "Oh I'll tweet you, you bony bitch!"
Geoff: "SEX ROBOT!"
Craig: "That's right, you are mine!"
Geoff: "Oops, I just piddled!"
Craig: (laughing) "I can't believe we got away with that shit!"

It's fine to me that Conan and Craig both have a different style of doing things. Conan probably keeps his interviews more on task so that he doesn't wind up having to bump guests but in my opinion the way he interviews is still pretty good. He does drive towards what the person appearing is there to promote though but it works for him. Plus the way he does it doesn't seem as impersonal as it does often times when watching someone like Leno or Letterman who don't seem to care much about their guests. Craig quite often starts talking to a guest about anything and everything and ends up bumping his guests quite frequently.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
I don't think it has as much to do with keeping guests from being bumped, though you're right that it never seems to happen on Conan. I think it's just that Conan needs that list of talking points to keep the flow moving and avoid an awkward lull in the conversation. Which is fine, it's actually pretty amazing that Craig can do what he does and I don't expect every host to be able to do that. A Conan interview is still quite entertaining, I just think Craig's are better on average.
I wish Conan would let loose in the interviews more. Usually he just sticks to the questions, but sometime he lets loose. His interview with Larry King was great. Unfortunately, I get the feeling Conan needs to be in the spotlight all the time, and does not like other people taking the spotlight. Larry King interviews on Conan and Craig provided a good contrast. On Craig, Ferguson actually pushed Larry to do the whole show after Larry interviewed him. On Conan, when the second guest was on, Conan felt the need to get back into the spotlight when Larry was asking the question to the second guest.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
First time watching Conan since he was on Late Night and, maybe I'm used too Craig's freeflow style but, I was incredibly bored. He still has the worst monologue writers in the business and the interview was so by the book boring. I miss 'writer's strike' Conan... he is so much better when the writer's aren't holding him back.
