Was Yasmins strategy really to not do any work at camp? What a dumbass.

Black Russell is a total ass. Does he actually believe that the tribe has to vote how he says? This guy is due for an early exit

Black Russell voted to boot Yaz as well. I think it's funny to hear Black Russell make threats in his high-pitched voice.

Monica has really good facial features, and a nice, natural bikini bod.

Yaz and Ben should have fun together at the Loser's Lodge.

That was the funniest thing on tonight's episode was Yasmin stating that her strategy was to do nothing at camp and only exert herself at challenges "because that's all anyone cares about." I'm guessing she's rethinking that strategy about now!

How stupid can you be to have a strategy of doing nothing at camp?

^Not to mention she said that no one will be able to prey on you if you do nothing. Has she ever seen the show?

Just curious.

Would Monica have been an acceptable boot option for you guys?

Based on the challenge performance yes. I would have gone with Monica.
The team is pretty Strong.

But without Yaz it's probably Shambo or Monica next

But she did stuff when people asked her to! How can they find fault in that?

My guess is probably not. 95% of the people on this show are recruits and have been the last 4-5 years. That is the primary reason why a show that's been on almost a decade has contestants who seemingly get more clueless about the game each passing season.

If I were Monica I would have owned up to the fact that I fucked the challenge up, but then I would have said that the team is still on a hot streak and that I've been performing in all the challenges we won so there was no need to vote her out for one bad challenge.

That's an honest enough answer that would have deflected all the negative energy to Yaz.

But yes, as is, Monica wouldn't have been a big loss but as for team morale I think losing Yaz was the better option.

Even with Monica being slow on the ropes, they still started stacking blocks first, so they can't blame the whole thing on her. They all screwed up that part.

I feel like Arthur Carlson in reverse - I knew chickens could get airborne somewhat (long jump), but I didn't think they could fly up into a tree.

I was surprised that Black Russell voted for Yaz after his comments in TC.

Good immunity challenge.

Did the writer of that article even see the Fiji season? I believe most people feel that was the worst season.

Also, did I miss something. Did someone from Foa Foa get to go the the other camp and sit in on tribal console?

Re: Survivor: Samoa - 10/08/09

Anyone notice how much Jaison's voice sounds like the guy who played David Webster in Band of Brothers? It was really noticeable the previous episode.

Did the MSNBC writer not see the Thailand season (or Vanuatu)? I think this season is turning out pretty good.

This week's Jeff Probst blog:

I think they didn't do that since both idols have been found.

Shambo visited Foa Foa after Russell found the immunity idol. Plus, they have always acted like the idol is still out there long after it's been found. I don't know why they would change that at this point.

The first guy Shambo told the clue to, I think his name is Eric.

Good point, I hadn't thought of that. The idea was just sort of dropped for no apparent reason.

I must be a dumbass too, because I wouldn't have thought a chicken could get high up in a tree either Of course, I hope I would've been more careful and not let one escape. Because even if just running around on the ground, they look really hard to catch.
